Hi Gert, thanks a lot for the support, it means the world to us! In Malta they have some similar street food called Qassatat and Pastizzi both were "imported" by Sicily (Cassata and Pastizzi are also Sicilian words). Not exactly the same as scacce but also very good. A very typical Maltese food is their bread, the Ftira it's a UNESCO heritage food as it's very unique from Malta and the recipe is almost 500 years old! I hope you have the best time in Malta, enjoy your trip!
