I’m a Kazuya main (Fujin) and all this was accurate. He’s simply hard to pilot in the upper ranks and is outmatched by the rest of the roster with regard to his tools and damage. His 3,1 cancel combos are too inconsistent for me to rely on so I usually end up going for 60 Damage combos on non-walled stages. He needs to be fixed.

@cactuarkid1469

It's dependent on the situation you are in. Backdash distance is nerfed but it still blocks high and mids. Hey, a question. If SS1 -> cancel -> df1+2 is the plan, for the cancel part, I see players slightly differ as in, "SS1 -> b, bu-->df1,2" vs "SS1 -> b,bu,u -> df1,2" . Looks like the backsway motion cancels on both uf OR u input. Do you think it makes frame difference including UP command or not?
@cactuarkid1469
@cactuarkid1469 4 ай бұрын
In the clip I did the cancels as basic demonstration for SS1 in between strings, it doesn't matter what string really as long as you have some idea on why you want to utilise a particular string. Play around with the cancels and experiment. The cancels themselves are as a fast as you can cancel them. Some strings are risky to cancel from so be sure to check the frame data displayed I do up method because ergonomically it's closer to holding back or down back for defending. Uf can be risky as not consistently precise by nature as you could potentially get a fwd sway. Hope this helps answer your question

I use fight stick, for snake shot loop, I use SS1->QCU (b, u/b, u) instead of (b, u) To cancel out of SS1 to mix up with other move like db3, 1. SS1-> b, u/b, up -> db3.
