How to play Tekken (Tekken tutorial)

Given that Tekken 8 is around the corner and potentially casual players may be intrigued to want to play, I figured I'd make a video to help them as I remember how confusing and frustrating it was when I first started playing Tekken 7 (from casual to competitive). Plus it would be a good way to give back to the community that inspired me to continue playing Tekken with their tips and advice. I hope it's helps new players or even maybe some players that have been playing but maybe overlooked something.

I love Tekken but this franchise is like here's the game and now it's a you problem figure it out nerd. It doesn't teach you anything really not how to use tools, defend and apply mix ups, what properties your moves have, frames or get up a options. It's sad really because it turns people away from the game because it's shrouded by mystery

@@cactuarkid1469 yeahi get that, i just started in november last year, (proud gigas main) and i had to google or youtube everything, when there should have been like atleast a tiny video explain that "hey this frame data is a thing" or something

Been there searching the web for information on how to Tekken essentially lol. It's frustrating and I see how people can be easily discouraged from continuing to play when the game doesn't explain the in game laws of Tekken. But kudos on the Gigas pick, I don't see many Gigas players let alone fairly new players picking him up.

I am glad that you find the guide helpful, Tekken is notorious for lack of tutorials. But it gets more fun when you have a better approach to it
