My most favourite is the last one - not only the voice, but the design is stellar! Also mischievous. I didn´t noticed, but they have looong bodies - it seems something between furred centipede and a ferret. Simply love it :)

I always assumed the Neo Dnyarri talked like that as a psychological disarming tactic. Since the talking pets had intimidating voices, he speaks like a new york buffoon to make you underestimate it. ALso like that little tidbit that the Neo Dnyarri put in when asked about what life was like for his people, that nugget of truth "Compelling each other to do the boring chores". That sounds believable that such a lazy and powerfully psychic race without anyone else to control would just force each other to do the mannual labor

This is a cancelled fan project I'm afraid. But the true sequel, Children of Infinity, promises to followup on what happened to the Androsynth.

@MSR-1701 The idea was that while they would be a threat. Their boasts were rather hollow. They're actually a species of parasites. The Ur-Quan passed them over as they pretended to simply be spaceborn animals on their Prawn hosts.

I love that Reiche and Ford went all the way down the propaganda rabbit-hole with the Dnyarri and their "interpretation" of events. One can definitely feel the influence of the (recently-ended at the time) Cold War.

Giving it some more thought, maybe they didn't use the Wymdoo crashing one because the Commander refers to the Captain as "he" in that video. Did SCO otherwise leave the Captain's gender unsaid?

No that part is kept in the game. Actually that part wasn't even in the original clip, had to splice in from current version. Originally it just cut to the flagship and didn't show her talking in the tower thing. But yeah oddly no other part of the game genders the captain I don't think.

Simply spliced the existings clips together with earlier concept clips created by Stardock. My friend also helped me with a small edit to the year said at the beginning, as it said 2090 and the year is 2088 in the final game.
