Nope, called support and here was the fix. Go to the ezcloud setting on your nvr, go to the bottom where it says delete, then go back into your app and rescan that qr code that is on the excloud section on the nvr. Once i scanned it again i was able to get the access back

Its been a while since I made this video but I am pretty sure that I just had to wait about 30 seconds and it showed up as online after it connected through the P2P service from Uniview. When you added your camera, did it say successful like at 5:50 in the video? Also you don't have to set this camera up on the phone app. You can connect an ethernet cable and use EZtools2.0 to find the IP address. Enter the IP into a web browser to login and setup the camera, there is a screen in the configuration that lets you setup the wifi portion otherwise it is like the rest of their IP cameras.

@@wesupplysecurity it did say successful when I paired it. I currently have it set up on my NVR, and my NVR is added to my EZView account. In the EZview app, I can see my NVR is online; therefore, I can watch the camera through the NVR. But in the EZview app the camera by itself says offline. I appreciate the info and quick response

If you login to your NVR through a web browser then go to "Smart" then "Motor Vehicle Search" you can start a search based on the start and end date that you enter. After your results show up, you will notice a button that says "Backup All". Clicking this will generate a CSV file that will likely work for your reports.

That's not typically an app related problem. You will need to run through typical troubleshooting methods at the location. First check the camera menu and hover the mouse over the exception icon to see what the NVR says the problem is (verifying the status: offline/password issue/camera locked). Then check the maintenance menu and verify it the PoE port is supplying any power to that camera (if the camera or cable have failed you will likely see 0 watts on the PoE). You then need to remove the camera and connect it directly to the NVR using a short patch cord (this verifies whether or not the camera is working / if it works using the short jumper then your cable is defective to the camera).

You can go to the menu in the NVR then go to Network -> Basic and click on the EZCloud tab on the top of this menu. At the bottom of the page it says "Logout", just click that and it will allow you to bind to a new account when you scan the QR code.

No, the app is freely available on both the Google and Apple app stores. Assuming you already have the app installed and cannot access your NVR because its already connected to a different UNV account then you just need to go to the Menu -> Network -> Basic and click the EZCloud tab, at the bottom of the screen it says logout, just click that. Afterwards, add the NVR to your app by going to EZView -> Device -> Add -> Scan and scan the QR code screen from the monitor from the same screen you were on when you clicked logout.

Videoloft can provide the cloud back-up/retention but based on your storage total I assume you wanted local storage as well. You do not need 77 Petabytes of hard drive space to do this. We have 32 cameras here on 24TB with a mixture of full time and motion recording and we get over 90 days of playback. If you are recording 24/7 and using a high bit-rate on your cameras you can reasonably assume that 72TB will achieve it so you probably meant you wanted 77,400GB or 77.4 TB on your original storage requirement. Uniview's U-Code compression makes the 90 day target even easier to hit.

Yes, you can connect your laptop to the antenna. They will work with pretty much any IP device, the antennas themselves make a wireless point-to-point connection that operates like a ethernet cable would.

I would verify on you NVR under the storage menu -> hard drive that your drives are connected and showing "normal" under status and then also check the schedule and make sure that you have the "enable schedule" checkbox ticked. Assuming the storage is all okay, check that you can do playback from the NVR. Outside of these things, you would need to talk to tech support to see if they can offer any additional advise (800-860-7999)

Make sure that enable "Noise Suppression". Also the audio levels tend to be set at 95% or greater from the factory, reducing the volume helps to reduce ambient sounds.

I am assuming that if you are watching this video then you were not able to access the Live view through the app beforehand. Regardless, if you were unable to update the firmware on the NVR through the app then you can go directly to the NVR menu and got to Maintenance then NVR Upgrade then click "Check for Update" at the bottom of the screen. You can also check the playback of the camera(s) you were unable to access through the app while directly in the NVR to verify that the camera has been recording. The app is just for remote access so if you don't have recording on the NVR then you won't be able to see it remotely -- if there is no recording on the NVR then you need to check your hard drive health, recording schedule, and camera trigger actions to ensure that everything is functional and configured correctly.

Yes, you can add it to a NVR as a regular camera. The IP address is DHCP by default so you would probably want to make it a static IP before adding it to the NVR.

You are correct - a replaced NVR will not have have the camera's unique passwords available and you would need to call Uniview tech support to reset them. It is completely free to use that service.

Hello friend, I just checked my LPR camera. When you do VCA retrieval, it will display the corresponding screenshot as the retrieval result. When you click on a specific result, it will show the corresponding video (the screenshot is just one key frame). When you export, you can export the corresponding screenshot and video (optional, Backup Image or Backup Recording) So both image and recording are storage in your NVR system@@user-gg7xu2id6c

Windows 11 shouldn't affect the ability to view your NVR directly with the browser, are you able to login to the NVR on the browser and you don't have video or when you enter the IP address of the NVR it won't connect? EZTools is good to have installed because it will tell you the IP address of the NVR or you can go direct to the NVR's network menu and find it there, after you have the IP address you need to make sure that the IP of the NVR and the IP of the laptop are using the same numbers on the first 3 segments (usually either 192.168.1.xxx or 192.168.0.xxx) and the number in the last segment is different. If the first 3 segments don't match then the laptop will fail to connect. Alternatively, if you can log in but don't have video it is most often related to the video compression but you should see a bar at the top of the video telling you what needs to be changed to view it on your browser. Also you can install EZStation and connect the NVR to your laptop through the desktop software. Hope this helps

those antena cables are meant for you to put the antenas on the front of the mounting brackets.
