Capture License Plates using Uniview Surveillance Equipment

This video will walk you through the entire process of connecting and configuring an LPR / ANPR camera from Uniview. License plate cameras are specialized for reading license plates from moving vehicles both day and night -- this is not something a that a regular IP camera is designed for so if you have a customer wanting to capture license meta data then you need to watch this video.

Hello dear I have small problem with that camera UNV . thanks for your help When i search in VCA to the car or plate number they don't show me the photo of the plet number.is show ing all the car with vedio.my NVR model Its NVR304-32E2 .. how to solve it ? thanks

Hello friend, I just checked my LPR camera. When you do VCA retrieval, it will display the corresponding screenshot as the retrieval result. When you click on a specific result, it will show the corresponding video (the screenshot is just one key frame). When you export, you can export the corresponding screenshot and video (optional, Backup Image or Backup Recording) So both image and recording are storage in your NVR system@@user-gg7xu2id6c

Hi, I have a question, is there a way to the camera capture de LPR (License Plate Number) and in some way I could capture it in my computer to save it to a DataBase for further reports...? if yes, please point me in the rigth direction to do it. Thanx in advance...!!!

If you login to your NVR through a web browser then go to "Smart" then "Motor Vehicle Search" you can start a search based on the start and end date that you enter. After your results show up, you will notice a button that says "Backup All". Clicking this will generate a CSV file that will likely work for your reports.
