You are supposed to put the perm in the roots and the body of the lash only

The reason that the roots are brighter is because you dyed them first and the roots provide heat from your scalp causing the process to speed up

I used Superdrug rewind colour got my hair from Dark Auburn Copper with red tones as it’s a Dark copper colour back to my Dark blonde roots with ash Lightest blonde no bleach needed for me thanks for sharing X
