I just finished rewatching the movie and I could not disagree more. It begins with Robocop being Robocop taking down guys robbing a gun shop. The it basically goes to him being Alex Murphy "stalking" his ex wife and son because he remembered who they were from the first movie...when he was regaining his humanity. That led to a lawsuit and him being "rebooted" to forget that. I think that's a nice story progression because it would be something OCP would absolutely do. Also, Robocop was meant to be satirical, the humor only really works if you know what it being lampooned. I think people these days have no concept of what satire is and that's sad.

I'd love to read the books someday but they're just so longggg

Home Alone 1 and 2 are classics, the others after, some of the worst movies in cinema history.

There is a directors cut of this movie, Anchor Bay released many years ago. I got lucky and found the VHS at a thrift store years ago which I still have. This was also released on DVD which might be hard to find. The theatrical is easy to find. This film was probably released on Blu-ray with both cuts by now. My advice would be to do a Google search. Sorry for the long post.

It's a kids movie. For a kids movie it wasn't bad at all. Too much hate is being thrown at this one.

More interesting but no sense, the movies never billed him to be a ruthless vindictive cold blooded killer. He killed for survival, self defence or to save lives. This goes against how his character was built up over 3 movies.

I forgive the cast, crew and team involved. However I despise the producers who kneecapped the whole project with their decisions. As Bob Chipman said at the time, the finished film was artistic vandalism.

It could be worse. It's not the terminator franchise
