I have been a widow for almost 10 years . My husband was very sick with lung cancer. He choose no chemo because we watched so many of our family pass away . I agreed with him he didn’t want our children and grandchildren to watch him suffer . Only GODS grace has helped me through. Yes I sometimes get lonely but GODHelps me . Yes there are a lot of ups and downs. But I keep thinking of the fun years we had in the 39 and a half years . My children and grandchildren talk about their paw paw all the time. We have a lot of fun conversations. Keep on smiling and serving God

Hi, dear Sara. I have been watching numerous signers in ASL signing our beautiful Christian songs. I am so blown away by your ability to sign with such clarity and capture the very essence of each song. Your dedication to our wonderful Savior is evident in every video. I am not sure if you have a web site or not, but, I would love to go on the site if it exits.. I came across your songs by searching KZbin. I learned sign language over 40 years ago, much the same as a deaf child learns english during their school years (see-sign.) The ASL "language" (actually way to structure sentences and phrases) is fairly new to me and your videos are really helping me to learn again. Thank you so much. I'm 76, but, still have the ability to learn.. haha. God bless.

Thank you for these videos. I've enjoyed using them to help me as I seek to learn ASL for use at work where I interact with deaf and hard of hearing customers. I love being able to worship in sign using more than just my voice to worship Him. God bless you in your future endeavors.

Sara, thank you for your beautiful gift! I am the mother of 6 (more, if you count their significant others and friends who I helped raise, and still call me momma, lol 🤣 ). I've been blessed as well by 13 grandchildren. The daughter of a preacher and missionaries, I made a commitment to Christ at age 7. I first became interested in ASL in Jr High school through my Christian school and our work with the school of the deaf. I was also a musician (vocal, composition, piano, and guitar). However, after years of struggling with several long term illnesses, I am not able to play the guitar, and it's painful to play the piano). Then my 2nd grandson was born with severe learning disabilities/ differences. As I was reading on how best to communicate with him, I started using basic sign language again. Then my other grandchildren became interested. Now (since Covid-19) I regularly meet with them on Skype or through KZbin and FaceTime. Thanks again and God bless you and yours!¹

Hi Donna! Thank you so much for sharing just a bit of you and your family's beautiful journey with me. I am sure your grandchildren are blessed by your love for the Lord, the deaf and sign language. I pray the Lord blesses you and your family with His sweet Presence as you teach them sign and glorify the Lord with your testimony of His faithfulness. And thank you for your kind words to me. Both of my parents are deaf, sign was my first language, and as I grew in faith, the Lord grew a love for worshiping Him in sign. :) All His ways are faithful and true. God bless you!!

I know there are many different sign languages in the world and this is not ASL, so I was wondering what sign language it is. Some of the signs are the same but many of them are different.

Hi Carol! Thanks for commenting. :) You are correct. Most of my worship in sign videos are signed in Signed English (ASL signs with english grammar structure). I have found that when signing songs, signed english enables me to sign more closely with the actual lyrics of the song (without signing each and every word). With ASL the words are signed in different order, and many words are not signed. If you're interested in watching exclusively ASL worship - let me recommend you check out Megg Rose's channel! kzbin.infovideos - She is an amazing woman of God, who is deaf and has a passion for creating ASL worship videos!
