I really enjoyed this video! What a wonderful thing you're doing! :D I was pleasantly surprised that I knew a large majority of your signs. I just started learning sign language last week. I only know the alphabet, some basic sentences, and about 20 or so extra words.

Thanks so much! I started learning sign language because of my friend, who is hearing impaired. She hears fine with her hearing aids in normal situations, but when we're in loud places she struggles a lot. So I wanted to learn so that I can help her out. But I also enjoying signing during worship. Sadly, I'm not a parent or teacher, so I don't think I fit into that category. But thank you so much for asking me! I hope that your ministry goes well. I love this so much! Great job hey worship in sign I have a question for you. I Love ministry and sign language and when I can mold them together I jump on it. My question is I am self taught when it comes to sign language and I would love to learn how to do this song I just don't know where to begin. Hi Alexander! Thanks so much for commenting and for your kind words! Actually the way I sign is in this video is mostly PSE which is Pidgon Signed English. It's a combination of asl and signed english. :)

As a Deaf person, I found the signing lacking in enthusiasm and too repetitive on the chorus. It not wrong sign wise, but you can change up signs to keep it more flowing. It also not the job of the person signing or interpreting to sing while signing. ASL uses non manual markers, this video lacks that. Rock Church Deaf Ministry has better video interpreting this sing by licensed interpreters. More emotion is needed, it more than just signs.

Hi Leah! Thanks so much for your feedback. I really appreciate hearing your opinion as a Deaf person because I know depending on the person their sign preferences may be different. My mom who is also deaf prefers signed english more than full ASL when it comes to worship songs so she can follow along. I actually love Rock Church's videos too. Yes their style is more ASL and I am glad you enjoy their videos! God bless you! :)
