@ares106 certainly. It makes me think lower of them as a company to be honest. Their customer support has been good in experience but I don't know if I want to buy from them again now. Something just makes me not want to put my money into places that are using ai in such ways

I’m sure you can ship anything to UK, but the receiver may have to pay TAX on it.

Bc this is not a vrx, it's just an antenna/wifi module that receives the signal and then its decoded at the smartphone. It's the cheapest way to use it right now and with a good smartphone works really well. For a real vrx you have to use a radxa 3w

​@@Clickmaster5k Here's one idea. Of course a big selling point of OpenIPC is the cost. It's cheap. So people who want to keep costs low will be attracted to OpenIPC. You know what costs a LOT less than buying digital goggles with HDMI input? Using the phone you already have in your hand. Or the laptop you already have. So that's one market. Another is that OpenIPC attracts DIY people. Folks who maybe built their own ground station. The USB stream that behaves like a USB webcam is easier and cheaper to integrate into your own project. So that's another market. That's also a good market to reach and talk to BEFORE you produce 10,000 "plug and play" modules - but get something wrong. :)

@@senseisecurityschool9337 Having to have a laptop is not cheaper than buying goggles. It will be interesting to see but I don't think you are going to attract a lot of new people to FPV just because its a different interface. On top of that you can get an HDMI screen much cheaper than a computer or phone so there isn't a world where this is just flat out cheaper. It might be cheaper for a few specific situations. I can see ardu pilot people using this to integrate with mission planner. As far as selling point, so far openIPC isnt cheaper that HDZ or Walksnail. That could change as it get in to more widescale production of course. To be clear, I am not putting OpenIPC down. I have been following Mario for a bit now and am very interested in OpenIPC. I like trying new things and tend to be more unconventional than a lot of FPV pilots though. One thing that would make it stand out from other options a lot more and would attract pilots over from existing systems is having audio working. I know this was mentioned in one of Mario's videos.

This is just an external Wifi card in a 3d printed box.

The team over at OpenIPC is already working on this and has a few prototypes in testing, more to come soon. The phone app is ONE of many ways to view the stream (especially with lower latency than with using a phone)

@@zoey101dogwablog i know , i have my own radxa DIY VRx module for my goggles , i asked mario and he said they put the VRx module on hold while they work on their own goggles which is why i wanted to plead my case to some manufactures , doubly so since everyone is running into the stuttering - which some believe to be because the radxa simply isnt powerful enough to record and stream the video signal
