When going on library devices and drivers the Switch micro SD doesnt even show up do you know why this could be i have a 128gb micro sd in my switch and its plugged into the computer it just wont showup

Are you sure the cable you are using has data transfer? Another way to install tinfoil is you can plug the Micro SD directly into your PC with a adapter & copy the tinfoil files that way aswell

@tequillaknight551 No Problem ofcourse, a good way to test if it's your cable or switch is to try plugging your phone into your PC with the same cable (if it also takes USB C ofcourse)

I would really appreciate your help.. i Want to buy a v1 Switch the next days put emuNAND on it and DBI installer to install roms From the pc .. But what do i do when i have no Games installed to press „R“ on it will it work in another way ? Maybe step By step in beginner Language :D <3 Thank you

@NedoNed-w2z You can also open your album to access the HBmenu, DBI will be much slower but will work Once you have a game installed for say minecraft, start using it instead to get faster speeds

Thanks Mate for all your help :) <3 so i bought a Switch v1 now and i am waiting for my RJ to Start jailbraiking so i found out it has a very old firmware 12.1.0 and i need newer Firmware to Play newer Games i will do it with daybreak i would choose Firmware 17.0.1 or 18.0.0 i have one question should i Update Sys and Emu to the newer Firmware or only Emu ? Will i have any benefits updating both ? Only wanna Play roms on it :D thanks <3

Hey man i got a question I had just recently got my switch homebrewed , and everything seems to be good I see the tinfoil installer and when i try opening it gives me “error 2155-8007”. I also havent updated my switch in ages. It’s on version 15.00. Should i update it and that might be the fix? And is it possible to homebrew the newest version? I havent touched my switch in a minute , so i hope you can help bro, thank you

Hey, is this with an exfat formatted sd card or fat32. I have a 512gb sd card that has fat32, I didn't want to run with any future problems. Tinfoil stopped woking for me saying its corrupt so that's an issue too

@@SirAzur3 Yes, but I personally suggest using apps like DBI, I do have a video on how to do so in the Switch Tutorials playlist Edit: Use DBI if you are installing from PC, if from a cartridge use Tinfoil

@SirAzur3 Yes, I'd suggest modding it on the lattest version, personally I don't if there's any read benefit to using a older firmware but I prefer to just use the update to date version

Thank you so much, the only available option for DBI was a Russian version, and I don't speak Russian, so this helped a lot. It was also a lot simpler and easier than downloading through Tinfoil.
