Folks I'm not that old and my stepson who is in his 30s isn't either. My mom would make me a sandwich-cold cuts or PB&J and pack a fruit. He too would bring a sandwich and chips . Yes, you could buy a hot meal but. There wasn't an expectation of a hot meal and only a certain % of kids would buy vs. bring their lunch. I think if that it expected, I understand the issue but when did we go to the school is responsible for providing food for kids? Schools are for educating. I'm scratching my head here. When did this we need to feed all the kids hot meals start? Again, if all the kids are doing that I understand not singling out some and taking their food away.

So they finally admits that schools are run by criminals. No child should ever had to pay for lunch. It's either the parents that pay or the school that pay, never the children.

These schools get thousands of dollars of tax dollars every year per each student. Why isn’t food included it’s usually cheap garbage food anyways.
