the 163 Ft/lb isnt the entire hybrid system torque number. Mazda/toyota don't disclose electric system torque numbers for hybrids with more than one electric motor. The number fluctuates as they come on in different situations, but it will give between +50-150 Ft/lbs That said, your experience is worth more than theoretical numbers. Definitely leaning more towards the turbo now. Thanks for the video!

My fellow Q55 etroners: make sure you inflate your tires to 44 psi. That's what my door sticker says but I've found dealers are filling them to 36 psi. 10% increase in range for me.

I drove a Model 3 for two years, and now I drive a Q4 50 since July. And to be honest: There is no real comparison between these two cars. I'm my opinion: Tesla has the better drive train (engines, battery), and of course a very good charging network. And rhat's it - in every other aspect, the Q4 wins. It's much more quiet (and no - you don't have to reactivate the lane assist after changing lanes - it simply kicks in again after you have completely changed the lanes, quiet and unobtrusive. No annoying "be-bop bo-bep"-sounds.). The windshield wiper does what it's supposed to do: Wipe the windshield when it's raining, and not wiping when it's dry. Phantom breakings? I almost forgot the term! Manual controls rule. And for the voice control lovers: Even that's way better in the audi. The Audi's suspension is way better than Teslas sickening abomination. Sound insulation - different worlds. And the list goes on and on and on...

We actually settled with the Audi Q4 e tron because Tesla lacked human connection with customer service. They expect you to do all the paperwork with their app. It was insufferable with the documentation part when we had questions because the dealership staff were not responsive. People have also complained about their service parts when something happens to the car. Also, the regenerative braking is no longer able to turned off in Tesla for the new models so we felt nauseous driving them. Audi being Audi, had a lot of customer service and support. The leasing was smooth and the interior design looks far better. Also, Audi allows us to buy out the car after the lease while Tesla forbids it. Audi for the win P.S. Your music is soooo loud

Do not buy the 55. The extra power is only available when the battery has over 80% charge. However, the Skoda Enyaq is much better for the price except for the display behind the wheel. Good vid! My Model 3 got hit while parked a few weeks ago and insurance wrote it off. I don't like elon either so looking for an alternative, but honestly will prob just get another Tesla. Nothing even comes close when it comes to how advanced the technology is and what you get for the money...not to mention all the supercharger stations.

Nice overview. I do hope they can stay focused on making an eRV and not get lost in the pursuit of making it as "green" as possible. I'm all for that stuff when it makes sense, but if its more expensive or less effective just in the name of being "green" it's a non-starter. For a prototype 108 miles of range isn't a big deal, but for this to be commercially viable they will need to increase that pretty significantly. And hopefully it can be charged at Tesla Superchargers.
