Im having a hard time trying to hook up the cables on the metal plate that moves the cables. When i turn the knob side to side, the metal part where the cables are attached snaps out. Any advices?

Thanks for the video. I noticed that @17:07 the left front turn light and left front side marker turn light are flashing together in unison. Then @17:35 the right front turn light and right front side marker turn light are flashing alternately. Is that normal? My front turn lights and side marker tirn lights have been acting up where when I have the turn switch to make a right turn, the right front blinks, but the right front marker turn light does not. Instead, the left front marker turn light blinks. After searching online, it seems to be the ICU box under the dash where the fuses are located. After the ICU was replaced, the problem was corrected. But since the ICU is discontinued, its hard to find a good used one. Have you had any issues with yours? Thanks.

you know, in the years that I've made that upgrade to the CRX, I haven't noticed an alternate blinking, I would have to take a look at it at some point in the next month or so (car is in storage). I can tell you I haven't had any problems with my ICU. I can also tell you that I had to change the flasher relay in order for the blinker to not flash rapidly, that upgrade is in one of my videos. :) Thanks for watching!

@@Econoballer Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't sure if you would read let alone respond to my comments and questions because your video is a few years old. My 1990 CRX Si is pretty stock except for lowering springs, bars and wheel/tires. All of my lights are stock, no LEDs. Its just that all of a sudden, my front right turn flasher does not flash although the front right bumper flashes. But the left front marker turn signal flashes. The left turn has no problem. I flashes both bumper and side marker. So it is driving me crazy. I saw some KZbin videos where the problem was in their ICU under the dash. Its the fuse box with all of the circuits. They replaced with a used one due to it no longer being available. So when I saw your video and saw your right front flasher alternating with the right side marker flasher, it caught my attention because the left bumper and left side marker are flashing in unison.

Hey, I just used the product about a week ago and noticed a hazing effect where I applied the product. Have you noticed the same or have any idea on this?

I think that over time you might have a hazing effect but that happens when you use a polish. You'll need to use a wax afterwards to keep a shine on that spot. I would suggest using a buffer to wax the area and bring out the shine. :)

You didn't mention that your using an OTG cable (not shown) to connect the USB-A connector from the ethernet adapter to the Firestick and then to power...

@@Econoballer⁠yeah, my first time with Ethernet and wiring a home studio. I ran 1000’ of shielded (F/UTP solid copper) Cat6. I plan on putting RJ45 jacks on most ends and then buying adaptors to convert for: -XLR audio (4mics on one Cat 6!) -HDMI -USB-A -USB-C -headphone system around the room. I’ve done a lot of research but still nervous I’m overlooking something! Runs are between 15-50’ max. Hopefully the price of adapters won’t break the bank but that may be better than soldering! Thanks for your tips!

When torquing the bolts and nuts on suspension, you need to put a load on the suspension with a second jack until the car slightly comes off the jack holding the car. If not you will prematurely wear out the bushing on control arms

It's difficult to tell if you have the 1st of 2nd Gen Firestick just by the remote only...unfortunately. You have to look at the actual firestick. This is because the remotes sometimes are interchangeable.

Never touch modern headlight bulbs before installing. Any oil or dirt can result in an early failure of the light.

so far, the stucco has remained intact and hasn't crumbled or been damaged. I think one reason is that there is no direct exposure to water. In these last three years with all these rains, it's maintained its integrity.

It will come the camera screen black. Because the data transfered to the hdmi. And we cant access the display interactivelly. And fyi the live audio still not comes out, because canon not give that. We just hear the audio of recorded video.

Hey, great video, explained very simply! as you say at the end of the video that in the future you will check the hot/cold lever LED, have you checked again? I don't think I found a video on your channel... If you checked but didn't make the video, could you explain to me why the LED works but nothing lights up from the outside? thank you so much😁

hi! So, I think this year I'll be taking the unit out and rechecking everything again. The reason being, I want to fix that lever LED and also look at the area where the cables fit in (basically, I want to revisit the whole knob thing again). If I get lucky, I might find a unit that I can use to replace this unit with but for now, I think I just want to revisit this whole unit again. Stay tuned, it's on my list for 2024!

@@Econoballer i resolved this issue by giving power to fire stick by one of TV USB port... Now it's working well without re-start

I troubleshot every single recommendation and the Firestick 4k max does not detect the ethernet wired connection in order to configure. I am using a USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. In the past I used the Amazon brand ethernet adapter and it did recognize that adapter but it will not recognize the new one that is capable of higher speed. Any suggestions?
