Your optical flow sensor only has a range of 2ms if you instead chose a laser a Laser range finder you could get ground distance accuracy with position hold because the laser range finders do dozens of meters height.....if your optical flow had the same distance when you tried to navigate hold up in the air, it probably would have worked btw........

The 30 mins battery is it a dedicated Zino battery or a Zino pro Battery? so does it fit perfectly into model, I believe it has to be held in with velcro straps and it is 6500mah capacity Right?

I got mine 2 days ago, the APP algorithm says low battery return to home and replace battery after 10 mins so I eer on the side of caution and land the drone after 10 mins. Should I just ignore it now and keep flying and as it has auto RTH , leave the model to keep flying and drain battery and land by it's self? My SG906 would do this with proficiency so I had no worries!!! What should I do, return the model? I already have a 2nd battery on order and the seller has offered either a second battery and I keep model or a return model for refund?

Is the Nylon-X PA6 or PA12? Also are you conditioning your nylon after printing it to restore the correct amount of moisture to it? That makes a huge difference in its physical properties.

Just purchased this drone, and the Chinese instructions were insanely poorly worded, hard to understand and impossibe to understand. I found your video by complete fluke and I can now sigh with relief....EXCELLENT video and my confidence is restored, and I believe I'll finally be able to fly my 1st drone at 56yr!! thanks video. I have a few questions. 1. My flight records can't be made. My flight records folder is always empty. Why is that? 2. There is no gimbal roll adjustment or automatic gimbal calibration, it's just like a formal menu, 3. All the batteries I bought are defective, isn't your battery defective?

Nice! That first flight wasn't bad at all for no tune and a semi-rigid 3D printed frame. Love Emax Eco II motors. Brother Hobby motors are also nice and have been my goto lately.

Yeah I just bought these a while ago because they were cheap. For being underpowered, I have not blown a motor yet. I have some new 3D print material from Mexico. looks very promising. Gonna but this setup on a frame printed in that material before I switch to Carbon Fiber.

Hey Friend. That doesnt look like 5km to me visually (judging by the number of trees you pass & approximation of terrain). Can I suggest measuring the distance between 2 known landmarks on google maps or something reliable and flying between them to confirm the margin of error for distance measurement? Do you still have the drone?

I think you have enabled the dedreconing in the cli to use the gps and the lidar together. If you want to fly inside before arming you have to hold the left stick at botom right corner to overwrite the (no gps fix) fault and then arm with the switch.

Also, configure a switch to enable the surface mode and be sure that first, you trigger the surface and then the poshold. Otherwise, it doesn't work

Overall not a bad drone .. exept for the gimbal. Good video quality, and range estimated between 3km and 5km. For this price .... worth to try if you can catch a perfect one. I made the gamble on a Potensic Atom... and had no worries what so ever. But i guess i will buy one of these just for fun.

This is so cool! ive been experimenting with INAV and 3d printed drones also. I think that shooting in the air is coming from the vibrations with the 3d printed frame. I've found that the bigger you go with frames the more problems with vibrations you'll have especially with a 3d printed frame. I had an idea like this with a servo to tilt the camera. Very cool stuff!! I got that MTF-01 but haven't tested it yet. but the cheesy matek worked very well. I haven't found a way to have it play well with the GPS and lidar setup. there's a deadreconing setting that has to be switched for indoor to work but then the gps hold gets weird but I'm sure there's a way around it

thanks. i tried the MFT-01 on 2 setups. 3: and 3.5" did not wotk well. For now, the Matek opiical flow/ TF-mini plus is what I will be going with. also, i just bought a cnc and cut some CF frames. videos to come.

It’s a great drone for the price. My only real complaint is with the return home. It needs to have a return home altitude to avoid any trees, houses, etc.
