Tesla provides instructions for removing the rearview mirror and cleaning this area also. I did my '23 Model Y last weekend and it is slightly different; there were no torx screws to remove but I had to twist the mirror neck with some pliers to remove/reinstall.

I guess torx screws were too expensive to continue using haha! Its not hard but because there is a lot of tech and cameras involved, I can see how a regular person could feel a bit uncomfortable with cleaning this area

The reason they had two keys back then was you could start the car and let it warm up and lock the doors with the door key. The keys were not labeled but they were two different shapes. GM used to have it where you could remove the key from the ignition sw. without locking so you could start the car without putting the key back in the Sw. Different times car theft was not as big of a problem.

Looks awesome, i have the same one getting installed this week and i just realised at the end of the video the difusser red-light kept blinking. it's gonna be eye sore on roads n probably not legal. can you please advise it can be a normal taillight? if not then i probably wont hardwire mine...

Amazing news! It will look so much better!! Regarding the LED…….YES it is very frustrating and I realized it months after having it that my brother told me that the light keeps blinking while stopped. I opted to disconnect it. I may retro fit another led and see how it works but I plan on doing this later on

Hey man sorry for the late reply. You will need to cut and splice the cable, not sure what the warranty will cover or not cover in this case. However, the bumper comes with this needle type connection that you can insert directly into the taillight outlet. This should be your option to use as this does not require any special cuts or hardwire. The only reason I dont like it, is because the needle type insert doesn’t always fit properly or it falls off. If you send me an email, I can send you a video or pics of what this connections look like

this is unusual... you may face a problem and should not fix it by yourself due to guarantee.. camera house is totally close normally! I never heard about such issue! btw your camera is HW3... HW4 has 2 cameras only at this house and is much more closed

This is a common problem for HW3 at least. Not sure about HW4 but if you get tesla to do it, they will charge you for it. And not to be confused, the housing cannot be sealed as this would cause fogging in the camera lenses or condensation do to its position, it beed to be able to breath to avoid issues.

Good job - but that stuff is on your camera lenses too. Should have gently cleaned them, just like a regular camera lens. (Use a lens cleaning packet from Walmart, or use microfiber and a bit of lens cleaning fluid, just be gentle and do a nice circular wiping, once wet, then once dry.)

Thank you for this! I was very unsure about cleaning the cameras and I honestly was having a hard time figuring out how to properly clean them without leaving streaks or marks. I will try this in the near future 😀

@@c3sgarage be as gentle as possible. I, and every other photographer of my age, have been cleaning lenses for 60+ years. There are many lens cleaning products out there. But Windex works. Just don't leave streaks behind.

Hey man! Great question, so the new system is quite snappy and fast, there is no lag that I’ve experienced and the UI is very responsive. The only con to both systems is video sound to car streaming as they both have a delay but the new one is far faster and closely matches noise and whats being shown on the screen. I will point out that I liked the older version UI more, not because it’s better but because it looked better. Ive only tested 2 units and you can find both reviews on my channel. Personally, just like a phone, I rather have the newest one as there are always new updates and improvements. Hope it helps and dont forget to use my discount C3SGARAGE for more savings.

Thank you! To answer your question, you can lower it, however, lowering will also destroy the main foundation haha. If you close the lift gate, you can re-open it gently and slowly to its high position. Hope this helps

Doesn't the birdcage include the A-pillar? What's the best way to check that?

Yes, the best way to check the A pillar, is thru the birdcage as this will show you how bad/good the car overall is. However, I would also recommend removing the T top metal portion (just a couple of screws) to check the above the windshield portion. This will give you an extra idea of the car. Really i don't find so convenient to have the battery at the back. Is hard to work on it, very reduce space, and annoying to wire jump it. But i like that is a way from the heat of the engine for a more healthy battery life.

Tell me about it, you have to angle it in a weird position to remove the cables and any work. However, the main purpose for this was for weight distribution, the c3 is a front mid engine so having the battery towards the rear of the car, allowed for better driving and cornering. Not that the car is sooo fast to even tell but, it is interesting that they thought of this back in the 60s-70s

I had so many issues trying to download this from the App Store. Not entirely sure why maybe because it was the day it launched and the App Store wasn’t updating. Which one do I select. I have a 2023 Model Y w/ Ryzen but the check out is confusing. It says 2019 with an AMD interface or 2023 without an AMD interface.

You should be fine with the latest iteration. If you open the back plate under the rear AC you should see the 2 plugs mentioned in the video, if you do not see these, then you have to buy the older version.

Happy new year! it is a hit or miss tbh but I have managed to do it. there are 2 separate software within the system so one set will connect to the android source and the other one will connect to the native bluetooth. I know I know, I have brought this to tesstudios and they are working on a way around this.

You can have OTA and I have not tested having 2 headsets at the same time but will test today! Because you can pair multiple controllers to play games, I would assume you can. Ill get back to you later today

So after a few tries, I was able to connect both headphones or headsets at the same time but one playing at the time😀 One thing to note is that I was not able to pair them through the main system bluetooth but the android portion I also had a hard time with my apple EarPods so I went with 2 sets of beats Idk if this makes any sense. Also the dual function for controllers must be done on the Match Join in the main Bluetooth menu and not in the android menu. I also managed to get the OTA update for Disney from another viewer that was very helpful and I can share it with you if needed. Hope this helps!

My first experience with a Corvette I was seven years old and I got to stand next to a 1969 427 big block with side pipes and I’m not a John I said I’m gonna own a Corvette know if you knew that statement was coming from a boy who live in a town where there is no chance this boy was ever you get a Corvette it’s a slim chance I busted my ass off by time I was 35 was able to the goal of what a 1976 a small motor Corvette the worst Corvette you probably want to get but I was just so happy to have it like they say never meet your heroes, After owning Camaros and other performance vehicles, much later than this, I found out that this car is bark, was bigger than his bike. But the locks and the admiration and the conversations at every gas station is what made it worth it. Those lines will never be made again you’ll never see it again the performance just wasn’t there and 76. I don’t blame the Corvette brand it’s styling was there, but he just could not perform. It’s really great to see other people enjoying this body style and enjoying it for what it is. Thanks for sharing your video.

What an amazing story! Just on a little note about me, as you can tell, I am not from US but Colombia, and I grew up loving the corvette and could only dream about having one. Obviously in Colombia Corvettes are non existent. So when I got here, I saw one for the first time… from then on I decided to have one at any cost… I am fortunate to be the proud owner of one and I will not ever get rid of it haha.
