seems like black eagle is doing everything they can to try and stay relevant, without developing something new. Black eagle and gold tip are gonna get phased out when you got Easton and Victory actually improving on more than just the box vanes and labels

The arrow bends at the weakest point they just prefer to put the bend up...its not the strongest part of the spine or it wouldn't bend there. Its a path of least resistance type thing.

The hesitation you're seeing is due to how the serving is influencing the nock, look at how the serving is laid. If it is spun on from one direction, re-serve it from the opposite direction.

Bear has terrible cams and you end up getting stuck with an ok bow that consistently chews through strings, derails will generally is just crap. Get their customers support involved and all they do is tell you we know it's a design flaw you just have to deal with it sorry here's a new string. Will never buy a bear bow again. Good luck.

Well the string itself may or may not be the fastest set out there on a given bow striped of everything, but as soon as you add everything to the string it might not still be depending on weight of what was added. Then it’s just blk and white…boring. Want speed, get a faster bow.

I don't know why but I thought the weight difference between carbon and aluminum was alot more than it is. Even though I'm not a huge fan of mathews from past experiences with a vertix i owned. The new lift x pretty much weighs the same as this mach 33 it might even be less which i have to say is pretty amazing. If they fixed their limb and bearing issues I'm tempted to give them another go. I love bowtech that's all I been shooting for the past 5 seasons but if I have one complaint I wish there hunting bows were a little lighter my solution ss weighs 7½ lbs. without the quiver. I'd like to get something a little lighter for next season or atleast be able to put that extra weight where I want it.

This bow was only made for 1 year and they got rid of it . They changed it completely in the formula Xi for 2020 and then changed it again in 2022 to the XD . The formula X and XI arched back section behind where the limbs are connected caused the limbs to be unstable .

Definitly not worth 200 dollars for 2 to 3 fps. The speed gain is absolutely meaningless
@LancasterArcherySupply
@LancasterArcherySupply 4 күн бұрын
Some people don't care much for their FPS being as high as it can be (the person writing this is one of those people), but if someone is in the market for/needs new strings and they want to get the MOST out of their system as possible, these would be a great addition. (They also saw gains up to 7fps in some cases)

You can't get an unbiased opinion from someone that's sponsored!!! Some sponsored "pro" is not going to influence my purchase decision. Let customers try the thing out. And, not paying that kind of money for no bow, get outta here!! Matthews trash!!
@LancasterArcherySupply
@LancasterArcherySupply 5 күн бұрын
Alright, then don't listen to the Pro shooter portion of the video if you don't want to listen to sponsored pros. Also, "Let customers try the thing out" would just apply to literally every single product video anyone ever does, so not sure what the point of that sentence is. Lastly, you're in luck, because no one is forcing you to buy anything.

I know I’m repeating myself but why would Easton build a really good light weight GPI arrow and put a vane on it that weighs 8.3 grains each? Defeats the purpose of trying to get a great FOC by putting more weight up front….. the heavier vanes just offset that.
@LancasterArcherySupply
@LancasterArcherySupply 5 күн бұрын
Just put 600 grains up front - easy solution
@pjreilly3997
@pjreilly3997 5 күн бұрын
They chose these vanes for broadhead steering. I understand that you are very interested in your FOC. A lot of bowhunters aren't. (I couldn't tell you what mine is. Nothing I do with my arrow builds is aimed at FOC. It's all about accuracy.) So while you are looking at this ultralight arrow to help your FOC, many are looking at it simply because it's lighter and allows them to shoot flatter. Also… I weighed a Bohning X3, Driver 2.75 and Hybrid 26. To match the steering profiles, you have to go to the X3 3 inch which weighs 9 grains. The AAE weighs 7.4 grains and the TAC is 6.4. If you go to the X3 2.25, it weighs 5.6 grains but doesn’t have the height or surface area of the AAE that might be needed to steer a big fixed blade. So for steering, the 2.25 X3 might not do enough…..you’d have to go to the 3 inch to match the steering. I don’t think you’re saving as much weight as you think…..at most, it’s 6 grains total across 3 vanes….but that’s using a vane that doesn’t have the same steering capability
@stacyhardin611
@stacyhardin611 5 күн бұрын
Silent Knights at 6.8… 3” work great for my steering and so do the TAC 2.75’s To be honest they use those vanes because there is no prep and they are easier to fletch for mass production. They said that themselves. I’m not knocking their ability to steer a Broadhead just to heavy for me.
@pjreilly3997
@pjreilly3997 5 күн бұрын
@ So with the Silent Knights you are saving 1.5 grains total across 3 vanes. With the TACs, 3 grains total.
