Why does a carbon rod and a plastic hood cost almost 200usd... seriously overpriced.

I fletched up 7 arrows with the Flex Fletch 2.5 Pro vanes to experiment with. I have refrained from posting until I could be positive about their performance good or bad. I have been shooting them for a couple of weeks. Previously, I shot blazers for the last 10 years or so and before that, AAE Max hunters. nothing wrong with the blazers, I just like experimenting and tweaking my setup. I do not shoot a fixed blade broadhead, so I cannot speak to how they would do with that. I shoot Rage Extreme 2 blade broadheads. I found that the vanes shot very well with my Easton Axis 5MM arrows. They grouped well with little adjustment. I only shot them out to 50 yards. I found that they shot a little flatter than the blazers and my arrows were slamming into the target perfectly parallel. I shot them one day in about a 7-8 MPH crosswind and noticed very minimal wind drift. Just to make sure everything would be good, I did shoot 6 Rage Extremes at 50 yards and they grouped with my field points. I also appreciated how well these fletched up. I used the primer pen and glue from flex fletch and they set up very clean. Today I damaged a vane and tried to pull the other 2 off by hand and could not do it. Had to take my arrow stripping tool to it. i shoot a Ultra Rest dropaway and wanted to see if the lower height vanes would allow me to shoot cock vane down with out any contact. I shot 30 or 40 arrows with the cock vane down and never interrupted arrow flight. so, thats a bonus if you like to shoot arrows with all 3 vanes the same color. End result, I really like these vanes and they will be on my hunting setup until I find something better. Like I said, I like experimenting and looking for the next best thing.

If you need that to be that quiet with the likes of Bowtech and Hoyt being just as quiet woth the SS34 and Alpha X, and they do it with no dampening in the limbs.

In my experience this thing is crap. Shot it one day and it was giving me 271 fps. A week later I saw this video and realize probably put the Garmin too close to my bow and I put it about 3-4 feet away. My speed dropped by 12 fps which was odd. I went back to the exact setup I shot a week prior and my speed was 259 fps. If I didn't shoot anything where did I get 259 instead of 271 like last week? I placed it 4 feet from the target and I was 10 yards away and it started reading 17 fps. You're telling me in 3 yards I lost 90fps? Absolute garbage.

Overpriced with plenty of hand-shock. This bow is the reason the Ausable came into existence with wider limbs and more forgiving tiller.

Crazy to think current generation when we hear a statement of ‘a great price point of under 900.00. Budget target bow’ is a buy…😂 it’s insane to think todays archery life we find that a great bargain. man times sure have changed.

Fellow, hunters don't but this bow. I own a 505 and a buddy bought the trx. He has had nothing but trouble. He shot it 9xs and a ball bearing fell out of rest. When he got a new rest from tenpoint he could not get it to group. Knocks are too lose on string, ended up,going to ravin knock to fix it. Tenpoint dropped the ball on the trx 515. Come on man the money ya get for these things, if it ain't right, don't release it!!

It's an excellent release but be careful not to set the sensitivity too high; it can spontaneously release in mid pull.

Those wheels seem like they have friction going on with it. It just stops dead all of a sudden. It doesn't feely spin the whole time. Regardless, it was very entertaining to watch. Ive watched the last 3 year's. Very fun. I wish i could be a part of something like this.
