Excellent information! 👍🏻 I drink tons of water but I recently stopped in the evenings. I didn’t realize, until seeing this video, that I am now dry fasting for 12-14 hours. No wonder I’ve been feeling healthier. Great channel! ❤

I’ve never done a dry fast either only 1, 3 day water fast and several juice fasts years ago. My longest juice fast was just under 12 days but since I’m striving to be consistently carnivore I would like to try dry fasting sometime soon. Thank you for mentioning the possible benefits and like you said, certain religious groups have been doing it for 1,000’s of years. I’m sure at some point I could be successful in doing a 24 hour dry fast.

Howdy John, my why, I will try to keep short. Was in a lot of pain and a sickness that had me in bed for weeks, doctors could not find anything wrong with me other than the damage done to my lower back, shoulders and my neck that I could not move. Everyone said I would have this pain for the rest of my life and will need painkillers to help. I could not accept that, there had to be a way to heal. 17mts in carnivore I am still trying to kick back a few things but the changers I've had are my why now, my brain has never worked like this before I feel so much better, pain all a long my back is the same but not, as I no longer have all the other pains going throw my body it's a big difference. even if I end up with pian for the rest of my life I will never give up this new brain I can't wait to learn hehe I started to learn how to play chess yesterday could not win this morning I tried again lost the first 2 but won 3 in a row didn't think I would be able to learn how to play that quick still need to learn a bit more. I want to try everything. Everything has changed my why LIFE. sorry tared long lol thank you John enjoy your beautiful day/night.

what is your CAC score now? what was it before?
@Carnivoreteacher1965
@Carnivoreteacher1965 Күн бұрын
I'm 59.5 years old. I never got a CAC score until last year. Last year it was ZERO. I'll get another one in a few years. I don't feel the need to get another test because I don't eat carbs or sugar, so I know my score will remain low. If my score was high, I'd want to get new tests every few years to see if my healthy carnivroe diet was keeping it the same or lower it.

Is there a version of this which works for vegetarians? Just asking!
@Carnivoreteacher1965
@Carnivoreteacher1965 Күн бұрын
If not vegan, but a vegetarian, a person just needs to eliminate all ultra processed foods and fast food, seed oils and sugar and root vegetables and most fruit. Some vegetarians do eat eggs and dairy and some eat fish. It's the starch , sugar and seed oils that create cravings.

Carnivore teacher I have a question I’ve been wanting to know for a long time now. When someone shares from KZbin to Facebook specifically, can you see who that person is at this point? Or what is it you see on your side as a KZbinr when your video is shared?
@Carnivoreteacher1965
@Carnivoreteacher1965 3 күн бұрын
If someone doesn’t have a KZbin account, they can watch the video I post on Facebook, but it plays within Facebook’s platform. As a result, I can’t track their view on KZbin. However, I can see any comments they leave on Facebook about the video. When someone with a KZbin account watches the video, it plays on KZbin, allowing me to see metrics like views, likes, and so on. That said, I still can’t identify exactly who watched the video on KZbin.

True story! I learned that just because I’m at my goal weight and feel great I can’t “treat myself” to a cheat meal. I ordered Chinese for dinner, the next day I ate it again, my daughter’s breaded and fried chicken (General Tso) and a lot of fried rice. A few hours later I was cooking and had a seizure and badly burned my hand (2nd and 3rd degree) I hadn’t had a seizure in 5 months! I was so mad at myself because I knew it was my fault! But, lesson learned, stay in ketosis!
