How do you move forward mentally while getting through the days?
@ThirdPowerPerformance2 ай бұрын
There are days where it is REALLY hard.. Hell, I have had months where it is hard.. What I have found helps is gratitude and physical activity, preferably outside in nature. Even in our darkest times there are things to be grateful for. If nothing else you have a beating heart, eyes and ears to watch videos with, and the possibilities of the future. Stay strong my friend.

I hear ya! How do we turn those hobbies into something that serves you and makes the world a better place? There is no rule that says your purpose can't be fun. Quite the opposite. It NEEDS to be fun...

Been there for sure. How can we take small steps each day to help finances be a tiny bit better? Just ask that question each day. You may not get an answer right now, but the more you ask "how can it be better?", the closer you are to changing your life.. :)

Life is what happens when you're planning for it. Or, Groucho Mark said, "I plan to live forever, or die trying." The first purpose is to live happily recognizing you have no control over most things but your self.
@ThirdPowerPerformance6 ай бұрын
Agreed. It is the control over self that is the key. And knowing where you want to go, even if life takes you in unexpected directions, helps immensely..

Maybe the invoice, but the bottle says the heart to see the among all that our heart lies to us. The only thing that's stable and unshakable and unmovable is the word of God. Not experiences not near death experiences or out of body experiences or things we see or feel or smell or taste or touch, but the word of God. Don't trust your heart. It will deceive you. Unless you mean your heart in the sense that like that still small voice that says hey don't steal that candy bar or hey you need to apologize or hey. If you meant the heart that way that's a different story. Anyhow, thanks for the video my friend. Keep up the good work n don't give up.

There are hierarchical structures in Star Trek and Stargate. Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway, Archer, Georgiou, Lorca may invite suggestions from their senior staff but the final decision rests with the captain. Similarly for O’Neill, later Carter and Mitchell, Shepherd in Atlantis, Young in Universe.

Agreed. Not all of them are egalitarian. And even in the Arthur's Round Table, he was still the king. It is not a perfect metaphor, however, in most of them, there was acceptance of the diverse, and (mostly) there was the consideration of multiple viewpoints.

This sounds like a good exercise. It gave me a little perspective. I don't think I do much "frittering away" but I realize that this might reveal that my to do list doesn't accurately reflect reality. What I think needs to be done (the big things) may not actually be what **have** to be done (the minutia). I think I need a big overhaul on re-framing what my priorities need to be. Great video. Thanks!

Thank you! I find this exercise is great to do every so often.. even when I feel like I am doing well, I still find things that I am doing that are more ego driven/dopamine hits than what I *really* should be doing...

You have probably been working in your business and doing the same thing over and over. Hire and train staff to do the repetitive things, so you can free your brain to do the planning and strategizing, and trying new theories. You can't be everywhere all the time and you can't do all the jobs yourself. So trying to work on a way to delegate, even in a small way, That's fun! Think of it as a boat anchor that’s holding you down. Once that’s gone, your mind will just free up, your time free up, your bank account will grow. It’s just things become so much easier.
