Butter?? In school sponge?? No way. Would be marj at best. And school sponge was made with powdered mix. It arrived in big bags. I know this because I used to deliver the stuff from the council central catering depot to nearly every primary school in the county.

I tried this the other day with the same food colours but when I rolled the marbled fondant, the colours transferred over each other for some reason and muddied everything up and I have no idea why, any tips would be so appreciated 😢❤

I've followed this method, getting it all the way to the end with the perfect marbling! HOWEVER, once you finish the scraping on the frozen shell, every time I then "finish" the cake and put it into the fridge, the cake sweats with condensation, due to the frozen final layer coming up to temperature. Does this happen to you??? And what is your work around?? Thank you!!
