Nice vid man! I have a question, how do you work your way to be able to maintain a handstand? Did you practice on a wall first?
@nathanthomaspt3 күн бұрын
appreciate it. Funny enough I am currently working on the script for a new in depth guide on how to learn the handstand and handstand push up, should be coming in the next week or two, so stay tuned for that and maybe make sure you have notifications on. For now though yeah practicing on a wall will help grow your balance.

Just a short video while I work on the next big guide, which will be about learning the handstand and handstand push up. Thank you all for the recent support and 1000 subscribers.

How many days did it take?
@nathanthomaspt3 күн бұрын
By this point I think I was around day 80. Focusing on weighted pull ups has really been helping.

I think I didn't do enough warmup (only did like wrist, shoulder stretches and hamstring stretches) and got costochondritis or some shit. The front of my chest hurt when my chest moves and then it spread to my back so I haven't been working out for a week. So yeah do your warmups lol
@nathanthomaspt8 күн бұрын
I would never self diagnose yourself as you never will properly know what is going on, always better to get it professional looked at. Also, the warm up included more than what you pointed out, so make sure to do it all in the future, and if any injury was really caused, it could have also been due to incorrect form of your exercises not necessarily just the lack of a proper warm-up.

Hey is that tattoo from the wolf guy in Twilight? Kinda crazy to see guys get them unironically hahah, no hate though!

All good man. No it is this symbol that I always used to draw in my books in school and then it ended up taking a more personal reminder for me, of trying to become a better, stronger and kinder person every day.

Very helpful. How could one integrate calisthenics with traditional resistance (weight) training, being a beginner?
@nathanthomaspt13 күн бұрын
I am glad. There are two main ways you could do this. Either with weighted calisthenics, which is one of the things in my program. Or by either doing your compound movements as calisthenics and your isolation work with traditional weights and dumbells, that or the other way around.

I used to have the same problem while doing muscle up you feel something is pushing you down, but then I started to do weighted pull ups, pull as high as you can just like you doing explosive pull ups. After 1 day you will do it trusted👊 thank me later…..

Heyo dude, you’re definitely strong enough to do normal muscle ups. Search “false grip” muscle ups on yt and you’ll see you just need to tweak the way you’re holding the bar a bit. If you find it’s still too tough (which it is for me) look up “k boges” on yt as well. He has a plan for doubling pull ups video, most success I’ve ever had with a training plan in my life. Great work and keep at it, you’re farther along the path of calisthenics than me so thanks for the motivation!
