Why don't the car companies make the speakers easy to get to, a small trap door held by 4 screws maybe?? This ripping doors and decks apart is a mess.

Hmmm How do you remove rivet?
@mgasman2 жыл бұрын
Drill it out.
@rafaelponce82183 ай бұрын
Before you drill it try to push the hard center bit out with something pointy it'll leave just aluminium to be drill an it'll clean easier. Mind you use a drill bit about the size of the hole where rivet sits.

Not hygienic with fingers wiping excess frosting. Ew!
@mgasman4 жыл бұрын
Wiping a knife with a cloth is a risk too...a low risk. The surface area of the string being lower helps reduce transfer, but realistically any contamination is in consequential. I work in sterile environment, the OR. But the true test is that I've never had a fermentation infection while brewing for 25 years. At least I didn't lick my fingers, though tempting!
@tinathompson6834 жыл бұрын
@@mgasman I'd opt to wipe with a paper napkin, but I get your point. But, hold on there. Fishing line is made of: nylon, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF, also called fluorocarbon), polyethylene, Dacron and UHMWPE (Honeywell's Spectra or Dyneema). Do we really want all that, even in trace amounts, shedding on what we consume?

I didn't realize there are other alternatives to the Jandy LED engine. My light went out and since the Jandy LED engine costs as much as the light itself ($600), I was thinking I needed to buy a whole new light fixture itself. Your idea is great. BTW, how bright is this 5.5" light? Does it do the job of illuminating the pool well? Also, do you know if there are any aftermarket multi-color light engines out there which can be used for this solution?
@shannonseverin6522 Жыл бұрын
DId you ever find anything? My pool company wants $1400 to replace the Jandy light which has already broken twice with little use. I was wondering if I could fit the Florida-seeker Intelibrite boards which are designed as a replacement for the Pentair Intelibrite into the Jandy Watercolor housing. If not, I'm going to try the white light listed above. I have been searching all night for an alternative for this. I refuse to pay $900 for the Jandy light engine and I don't want to have to a thread a new cord/ housing. Thanks

Is fishing line e really hygienic?
@mgasman7 жыл бұрын
Certainly hygienic. Certainly not sterile. A fresh length off a clean spool would be darn close to the cleanest thing you could cut the cake with. Do you bleach your knives after each rag wipe??
@debz18927 жыл бұрын
I tried this last night on a full sheet cake, decorated with a ton of thick frosting, and it worked perfectly! My only suggestion might be that when you're at the bottom of each cut, wiggle the fishing line back and forth several times, forcing it down. If the top of the cake moves, you haven't cut all the way through yet.

who is responsible for feeding these kids this propaganda.hopefully someone would stand up and tell these kids to put down the flags and pick up a history book and learn about the Kent state massacre. in short there was a war protest at Kent state university. the gov didn't like seeing signs like "make love not war" so they sent the national guard over to the school. they walked up loaded there machine guns took aim and started shooting kids down.they killed 4 and wounded 9.that's your national guard in action, shooting kids down in the school yard. any adult there should be ashamed of themselves for not speaking up and stoping this propaganda operation.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have two of these as well. One works, the other is so dim you can barely see it glow at all if you are right in front of it. I thought about trying to find the replacement board without going thru Jandy, but I couldn't get my lens seperated from the housing to get to the board. I need part numbers and whatnot.

Answering some questions - slow on some, fast on the other. The hop aroma and taste was on the mark for an IPA - not over the top. I have had similar result with dry hopping loose hops and hops in a large hop bag. It is important to time the start of this process. I talked to a fermentation worker at SIerra Nevada and they start the Torpedo recirculation when the gravity is about 1/2 of the way to final fermentation which makes it about a day or two into the ferment. In this case you are balancing the desire to have yeast active enough to absorb the oxygen and the fermentation to slow enough so that the aromatics do not get purged with CO2 flow. I use the same schedule when dry hopping and remove the hops or rack to secondary after 5-7 days to avoid the grassyness of extensive dry hop exposure. 2-3 ounces of leaf hops is the capacity of the Blichmann Hop Rocket. I brew 10 gallon batches. I bought the Hop Rocket in March of 2011 soon after it was introduced and have not used it as a hopback in three years - four IPAs. It ALWAYS obstructed with the leaf hops being blocked against the fine outlet screen. This was a problem with the Torpedo system as well - even at the lower flow rates. In Blichman's defence the HopRocket is now sold with a coarse mesh cylinder ahead of the fine screen which increases surface area and has more open sheet space to reduce clogging. In Blichman's condemnation this (High Flow Insert) upgrade is sold for about $50. That is almost half of what I paid for my HR originally! I think that this engineering error should result in a kit being provided to those that bought the 1.0 version of the apparently untested hop rocket.
