I always wanted to visit the Marsden House and stay there the night. Yep the original Ferndale town is in the Rhondda Valley's, (Singer Tom Jones country) Wales, UK, it's 20 minutes up the road from where I grew up. My late grandmother was from Ferndale, she was a Celtic Welsh fluent speaker to. Europe's oldest language (Latin aside). Thanks for the video.

when they made the sequels of Salem lot they completely took it in the wrong direction they were horrible they should have done the backstory to the marsten house the original 1979 Salem's Lot was brilliant

It's without question, then in 1979 and now in 2020, the scariest horror film ever made, and what's surprising it was toned down horror wise for TV!! It was actually made for TV. Incredible.

Film Fact : The scenes where the child vampire Glick brothers are shown floating outside the windows, was in part, filmed in reverse offering a more chilling effect.

Humboldt County seems to be a very creepy area. The original Salem's Lot was also filmed there in Ferndale.
