No doubt the recipe book was well received and I'm sure we'll see more of it on River Gardener. Did you try one with the H.S Balls hot chutney? Cheers John 👍😀🤤

Hi Rivet. Happy New Year. All the best to you, Wendy and the channel in 2025. Damn that looks so crabelicious 🤤🦀 I'd have never thought to use a pretzel stick as a dipping rod. I'd be spooning the dip onto a french bread stick or other cut on the diagonal thinly sliced styles of bread sticks. I can see this in a sandwich as you said, or mini toasted pockets and vol au vents. It's a Win for the Wing it. Cheers John 👍😀

Hi Rivet. I couldn't help thinking of the movie 'Some Like It Hot' when I saw the ingredients for this Pimento Cheese sandwich. I'd heard of the sandwich but never thought twice about it until now. Sounds and looks like a gastronomic sensation and definitely something to ponder about. Diced pimento? Never seen that on our supermarket shelves and I believe it would be a gourmet item and possibly sold from fancy delicatessens or online. I'm sure it was a pimento cheese sandwich triangle that Tony-lip sampled and spat out in a scene from the movie Greenbook. Afterall, he was in the deep south. Thanks for the recipe John. Take care now 👍🤤😀
@RivetGardener18 күн бұрын
I loved that movie "Some Like It Hot"! What a hoot and the pair Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis were superb! Diced pimento can be found everywhere here in the US, since the late 40's and 50's it has been a staple ingredient in picnic / cocktail / entertainment foods. Greenbook was another good movie, I'll have to watch it again and look out for that scene. The fried chicken in the car scene was classic. Have a great 2025!

What a delightful video. As a person of Ethiopian heritage, its always nice to see the cuisine get international recognition. Although if you try to eat anything cooked with berbere with a fork I WILL come over there and smack it out of your hand. Injera or Fingers ONLY sir! ;) Also, the first mouthful MUST be fed to your guest or a loved one before you eat. No exceptions.
