How old are the batteries to say they are bad, if you carrying out a drain battery test, then you should do a full battery test on the system to see all the batteries voltage to know if those batteries were fully charged along with other batteries as it could have been missed matched battery voltage during installation or lack of system balance.

When I wake up in the morning it won’t show charging till I power it on. But it will continue charging if I off it. If it already charging and I off pv input if should on the pv back it won’t charge while the inverter is powered off

My newly installed 20kva felicity inverter doesn't show pv value when charging my bluecarbon 15kw battery with my panels, but i see values on my felicity solar charge controller, should i be worried

Note ,if your inverter is a hybrid felicity inverter it will show you PV on the screen. If it doesn't shows it means the voltage of the PV is higher than the voltage of the charge controller installed on the inverter. Secondly check the side of the Inverter,if the charger controller is working it will show a green light. If not check your panel connection before you conclude if the controller is bad.

Yes , but depends on what you are looking for. If it is only during the day you need high voltage if you need backup system to charge your battery you consider amperage. Note: MPPT CHARGE CONTROLLER also converts excess voltage ⚡ to amperage.

@GT , your explanation is correct. That is while MPPT controller is more expensive than PWM controller. Because PWM controller cannot convert excess voltage to amperage.

This question is a little bit different. I just purchased a 1200watt unit of this product. And surprisingly my generator can't charge it. My normal light too can't charge. I understand that any current bellow 170v wont work. But why is my generator not charging it? Ill appreciate the help. Cos i just bought this few days ago.

u are not converting 10kva to 20kva.u are adding 2 unit of 10kva

10kva 2unit to be configured as HS and SL. Note the both share the load equally. You can also add one unit of this 10kva smart inverter to make 3phase inverter which is 30kva depending on what load you are using it for.

The first question, how do you know how many amp ? Answer: 1. You can use your clamp meter to read AC and DC amperage. 2. Some inverters also indicate the voltage and amperage during charging and 3. Some external MPPT CHARGE CONTROLLER also gives you the reading in volt and amp.

The person that installed this is funny o. I am sure it's installed by an electrician who use idea to do inverter. But he could have just called someone to join him with the installation but he doesn't want to share the money with another person. But it's better to give a token to a professional and do right job than to do wrong connection which can cause big problem but thank God it did not lead to that. That's the problem we have with some of this electrical engineer . There is one that called me to help him after giving him quotation of everything. He collected the money and went to install alone didn't call me . The Engineer just use me to get a Job he knows nothing about.

Thanks , please check the DC voltage that comes from your solar panel with your multimeter. If there is voltage it means the solar panel is working, Secondly check the DC breaker that supply to the charge controller if the breaker is okay , by using your multimeter to test for continuity and lastly after doing all this it means that the charge controller is bad. If not clear to you pls call on +2348088810647.

In that case try to reduce the voltage connection, i.e if you connect 4 panels in series to achieve 150volt reduce to have voltage of about 120 to 130 DC voltage. Note: apply that first step I posted for troubleshooting. Thank you
