I would say, due to the sun intensity it’s reads 42v, it was suppose to read the Voc not a max.

I can see Voc 49.3 on the panel and that's what you are testing. So put the panel under the sun and test again. Thank you.

what matter is the amp nor voltage.high voltage with low amp is useless

Yes , but depends on what you are looking for. If it is only during the day you need high voltage if you need backup system to charge your battery you consider amperage. Note: MPPT CHARGE CONTROLLER also converts excess voltage ⚡ to amperage.

@GT , your explanation is correct. That is while MPPT controller is more expensive than PWM controller. Because PWM controller cannot convert excess voltage to amperage.
