That rabbit toy is amazing. Can you imagine that is was made so long ago? Not a computer in sight! Steve, Amanda and Julie are geniuses. the treasure box and helmet are unbeliveably fantastic.

I sought out this specific segment to say this -- I love The Repair Shop, and the level of expertise and dedication all the craftspeople bring to the program. Usually. That said, I was gobsmacked at the outcome of the alleged restoration of this poor woman's ancestor's homemade Knackler Gramophone. The final piece was an ill-fitted machine with poor sound quality and a pathetic, unfinished, untrimmed lumpy papier mache horn. What an absolute insult to the woman who traveled from Yorkshire to entrust her precious keepsake to Mark and Dom. The boys certainly didn't give it their best effort -- that was glaringly apparent. I was actually sad for the woman. 💔

I truly enjoy watching Amanda and Julie (the teddy bear ladies) work together. What a team! I was amazed at the excitement over the "Chopper". Schwilnn Bicycles in Amreica made one similiar, I think it was called the Stingray, and I wanted so one so badly I could taste it. I never got one... so now I am living my dream vicariously through Andy and Glen Turner and the Repair Shop. What an awesome team to work with.

The teddy bear mom should have thanked the daughter that had him restored. Something wrong in that relationship. Obviously the daughter tries so hard.

Honestly this is the best show. Gives me hope that they still make uplifting programs like this. And seeing the Craftsman inspires me to just do my own thing and try to create my own little things for the world.

My youngest brother received one of the very first “banana seat” bikes in the mid to late 60’s! It had the big handle bars like the Chopper! My brother was very happy that Christmas!!

This was my absolute favorite yet!! I didn`t want it to end. All of the reactions from the people had me in tears- the Chopper is museum quality now, Beryl`s reaction to the bear, the little girl when she saw the train for the first time. And that organ-i just restored one recently so I know what kind of work David put into that! I loved it all- now if you`ll excuse me, I`m going to put up my Christmas tree.

This is one of the best shows on Tv. Love the stories that go with the items being restored. The stories of what people endured during the war and how they survived are so fascinating, and heartbreaking. The way they cherished a possession that got them through the horror of war while their lives were torn apart but they persevered and continued on with their lives!
