Dude this content is INCREDIBLE!!!! I am literally 31 seconds in and I already subscribed and I am hoping that this channel has hundreds of these types of matches that I can binge!!! PLEASE keep making these!! This is such an incredible opportunity to see the insights of both sides of a game!! Do you also have videos where you have commentary from both players AND additional commentary from spectator commentators??? :o if not, please! haha this is awesome! I'm so glad the algo randomly brought me here! :D <3

Why didn't Magnus fork his rooks at 5:54?
@scottmc185521 күн бұрын
That move would result in black at minimum losing a knight for nothing or black exchanging their queen for a white rook. It looks like a fork, but it only pins the knight.
@nickbrandt291520 күн бұрын
@@scottmc1855 How? The black knight isn't pinned to the queen bc the white knight. And there are no good discovered checks either. I think Maggie didn't fork the rooks bc one of the rooks could check his king and then save the other
@scottmc185520 күн бұрын
@@nickbrandt2915 - Rook to e1 pins the knight. If black moves the knight, they lose the queen with white going knight to D6 check.
@nickbrandt291519 күн бұрын
@@scottmc1855 ok nvm I didn't see the pawn. however the black knight could take one of the rooks and when the knight checks the king he could move over to protect the queen so it's a queen for two rooks, which is equal at best
@scottmc185518 күн бұрын
@@nickbrandt2915 - The only piece you can move with a knight check is your king or to take. In this case the only piece that can take the knight is the queen. I'm not sure how you are seeing a queen for two rooks. It's a queen for rook trade with an equal knight/bishop trade.
