The tattoo on your back. have you ever been to Thailand?

Yes I've spent a lot of time in Thailand and used to fight Muay Thai over there

At minute 6.47, what are you painting on the wood? Is it waterproofing?
@WeSeekTravelКүн бұрын
Hey, this was the light framing timber we used to create an air gap between the inside of the van panelling and the insulation. The timber was already treated but we decided to paint it to make sure it lasts longer.

What is the headroom inside?? Congratulations
@WeSeekTravelКүн бұрын
Hey we managed to get just over 1.85m of headroom. The flooring is 15mm ply with a thin 2-3mm vinyl plank flooring on top. On the roof we used 12mm tongue and groove panelling.

Im doing Kilimanjaro next year. Just wondering how you kept everything charged up? I will only need my phone for pictures
@WeSeekTravel7 ай бұрын
Hey Danny, I used the Anker 737 PowerCore battery bank on this trip. I also used the Solar Panel, Anker 21W 2-Port USB Portable Solar Charger with Foldable Panels to charge the battery bank. I just had this strapped on the outside of my bag during the day whilst hiking and it charged a treat 👌 Enjoy the trip.

Congrats on the successful hike. Thank you for sharing your experience. We have a trip planned for August and I'm curious what your coldest temps were?
@WeSeekTravel8 ай бұрын
Cheers :) The coldest we got was around -10 degrees near the summit. However I have heard of it getting close to -30 with wind. During the day walking at a lower elevation it was quite warm. For more information we have a full guide here : www.weseektravel.com/lemosho-route-kilimanjaro/

How long was the hike?
@WeSeekTravel10 ай бұрын
It really all depends on the position of the Chimpanzee's that morning. It can take minutes to some hours. The ground is very flat though and you follow the trails that are very easy to navigate with the ranger.

Congratulations to both successfull climb, birthday and engagement🎉🎉🎉. I am getting nervous I am doing 8day Lemosho with a friend, we both from Sydney Australia, with Climb Kili Sept 7th. Hey did u guys use ur own hiking poles or hired and which brand?
@WeSeekTravel11 ай бұрын
Cheers :) That's super exciting and will be an incredible experience for you. We absolutely loved the trek and the overall atmosphere on the way up. We have our own poles, which are the (Black Diamond Distance Carbon FLZ Trekking Poles - 140 cm) We've had them for a few years now and find them to be great. I would definitely recommend using poles either hiring them or buying them as you will find them very helpful on the trek.
