I wonder if your unit needed to be charged? I made some test welds and mine could not be pulled off by hand. It manual mentions that you can change the number of Dots, which will help with thicker material. Also, in their manual, they mostly say spot welds, but they also say: To strengthen the solder joints... This thing was cheap and it works for me, so I forgive them 🙂

Hello, Very good video to explain high voltage for destroying flying insects and many other applications. According to datasheet IRFZ44 mosfet is N channel and with its Qgt, td(on), tr,Rg is only 1.8ohm. Can you explain 180 Ohm? Thanks

The diode is there to protect the transistor from inductive spikes. This is an important measure, so I'm surprised he didn't express this. I especially like the addtional potting to reduce unwanted arcing between the unused pins.

You can use a pretty common transistor BU508DF transistor with the exact same circuit and even without a heat sink the transistor will be room temp with 5.5 volts i recommend 2 amps or more with my circuit ❤(note the resistor with my circuit will eventually get warm so add a small fan or just blow on it)

Bonsoir. Et si on remplace le bouton poussoir par une résistance qui chargera lentement le condensateur, en suite le condensateur se décharge à travers la base du transistor numéro 1, est ce que le circuit peut avoir un rythme chargée décharge charge décharge de façon continue?

Hi friends! I'm working on a personal project, and I have a question I hope you can help me with. I'm using a nichrome wire connected to a 12-volt power source. Currently, the wire heats up, but not enough for what I need. I measured the consumption, and it's at 12 volts with 2 amps. My goal is to make the wire heat up much more, and for that, I want to increase the current to about 3.5 amps while keeping the voltage at 12 volts. The problem is, I’m not sure how to do this. Is there any way or recommendation to inject more power into the nichrome wire so it can reach a higher temperature? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions! 🙌 Thank you so much in advance! 😊
