Yeah, you’re right. I’ve only been rock crawling my entire life in real life and had RC since I was probably eight years old, but they’re not for beginners. You’re right actually they might be because all they can do is drive over dirt roads.

Who wants to buy a 600 dollar trail rig for rc I could buy a actual xj pos for 1500 and beat the ever loving shit out of it in real life for 900 dollars that’s what’s so upsetting it’s garbage for the price it’s terrible electronics dogshit quality body i literally tried that obsticale 2 times at the beginning and the bumper broke didn’t beat on it nothing they are worthless It’s ignorant to say that a leaf sprung truck is just a trail truck. I have a K5 blazer in real life and take it rock crawling granite . It’s built locked front rear, which is the same case with the Toyota so saying that it’s a trail truck in its leaf sprung does not mean fuck all if a company actually made a leaf spring truck worth a fuck it would not matter but here we are with just RC four-wheel-drive making shit, leafspring trucks and charging people $600 for them because of the body.

How about if RC four-wheel-drive actually came out with a capable leaf spring truck it’s it’s possible to make a leaf sprung truck that’s capable RC four-wheel-drive is just gonna sit there and shove this garbage down people’s throats because it’s a TF2 and they’re going to buy it anyways it’s got terrible electronics terrible capability. It’s kind of ridiculous. I mean at this point literally I could buy a xj off of Facebook marketplace for $1500 beat the ever loving crap out of it in real life and have more fun than I’m having with this truck. I have a K5 that I rock crawl in real life with leaf springs and it’s locked front rear just like the Toyota is, but it is built. You can’t tell me that that’s any different. It’s ridiculous and sad and they’re not gonna change their method because people are gonna keep buying their dog crap products. It would be fun to actually drive a leaf sprung truck that was capable.

@@2w_oxi612 I had both, imo the scx10 chassis is more oriented for crawling and has a bigger aftermarket part selection. I had few issues with the differential locking servo on my trx4 but was easy fix.

@@davidgeorge5095 yeah I had both too but I still prefer the trx4, the plastics on that rig are crazy good compared to axial plastic

Bro the whole point it to not pick it up man, rc's are ment to be used its all part of the hobby, i learned this because my dad's friend lots of time and money on very nice cars all to hand them to is kid to yeet off a cliff at full speed,I thought he was going to be upset about it but it was quite the opposite, he had a giant smile, because he was sharing a hobby he loves with his son, and he also loves building them 😂

@@camwilli1 actually ended up selling the car about 4 months ago but i never had any issues with the axles

Well, you can look on the bright side. That wasn't the TF2 Yota 2 axle. Kinda looked like an Axial or Traxxas housing but definitely not the cast aluminum TF2 axle. Easy fix. I got to meet the guy who originally made your truck down at one of the scale day gatherings for Low Country Crawlers.

@ yeah he was actually there the day i broke that truck he couldn’t believe the axles broke after all he put them through and ya im pretty sure they’re axial axles

Just got mines yesterday. Idk if it’s better than Traxxas 2280. Seems like it lol turns way better. Hopefully my mom doesn’t die I made sure I liked the video.
