I have now been doing some tai qi for 3 1/2 years. I have a one hour lesson every week and practice more than 45 minutes most days. This is intermediate level, not Lesson 1. It's very nice but is not pedagogical for a beginner. I find the camera angle changes confusing. One doesn't learn to read by being given a book with lots if words. First one learns the alphabet. Your milage may differ.

My apologies. I have tried the program. This is a wonderful opportunity. Please re-envision the program. There is not a point in the program where we put two moves together, complete sequences, or work towards a form. The same for the instructors classes on The Great Courses. This a Tai Chi program with Jet Li's name on it. It should have millions of views, and wonderful reviews.

For the first time since trying to learn through other videos this is the first that it seems to come easily and naturally,I am facing multiple health issues and looking to find peace and strength to combat them with,this is the first time I felt a power or spirit of the movements as I learned them....can't wait to learn more, thanks 😊

A judo black belt using white belt level skills to not even budge his opponent. That's what this was. If he were to use the skills of an actual black belt, then the Tai Chi master would have lost in under a second.
