I shared your content in my group of thousands of people! it is very helpful, thank you! And others found it helpful too. Did you say no to all bread and pasta, or still have it occasionally (very rarely)?

Can I eat polenta and drink green and black tea? What about cabbage and pickles? I gave up sugar, still smoking, but trying to reduce it , the same for alcohol.

Just now at 71 my hip is killing me. Doctors wanted me to do physical therapy (boring) so I tried it on my own. It just made it worse. Saw your video a while ago but at the time I did have a problem and just now rediscovered your videos. I know you are right because this is the first year (after being ketoish) I rediscovered ice cream. It was a hot summer and well I went for it. About 3 months ago I noticed my hip hurting and eventually went to the doctor (big waste of time) Physical therapy is not helping and it's actually getting worse. So got my jug of olive oil down from the shelf and started with that. Cutting sugar cold and going back to the ketoish diet. I hope to see results soon. Because this sucks. Thanks again for your videos. They will help us get better.

I broke my pelvis in 4 places 42 years ago - 30 years ago they told me I would need a hip replacement in 10 years (and have told me the same thing every 10 years since lol), and that I must stop running, stop horse riding, stop playing soccer ... I did none of those things (Had my last soccer game at 54) and although my hip has been achy for all those years, and with limited movement that has gradually gotten worse, I have kept it limping along. I was a life long runner too, but had to stop because I ruptured the last lot of ligaments in my ankle 5 years ago (I am 63 now). I am due to see the orthopaedic surgeon this week, so this information is very timely thank you to a friend! I am a sugar addict I have to say, that is going to be hard, but oh to be able to sleep and run again! I am vegan for the animals, and when I went vegan, I had this side effect of my cholesterol going down.

My hip is about same condition as your description. And you said it could work well after 3 months. It is different with me. Sometimes the pain is gone totally from one day to the next, and I can skip jump down the stairs ( I am 73 ). Then one wrong movement, or carrying very heavy stuff, and it is all back. It will be hard for me to keep going three months when all the sudden I have no more problem. But I will do it.

Thank you Andrew, you give a great service to the community. However, I am feeling disillusioned. I am vegan and I have osteoarthritis. I can push myself to eat milk products and maybe a little fish now and then but I can't manage anything else. Legumes has been one of my staples, along with brown rice. I don't smoke, drink, consume processed sugars or wheat. I am taking all the supplements you suggest but it doesn't look like I can stay healthy on this diet when modified for vegan-ish. Any tips for me? thank you so much

"React just when you put it in your mouth" Yes. Your mouth (especially the tongue) is the first bodily route of absorption and (with the help of saliva) digestion. Many people do not realize this. Thanks for pointing this out.

Andrew, such fine exercises. Thank you for sharing them. A nagging piriformis injury plauges me, but after just this morning, one time through, amazing relief and no pain. Wow! I have two questions if you do not mind. One, do you continue to do those exercises in order to prevent your hip from losing its strength in the muscle groups you work? Two, could you do a video showing yourself when you were obese and explain how you got to that state? Where you an athlete initially, who became overweight, unhealthy, etc. or did you become an athlete and nutritionalist once you found yourself in such a dire state? I would greatly appreciate knowing. It would be inspirational for those who need to have a boost to get to where you are today. Thank you. Blessings to your family and you for this New Year.

Hi . Thanks for your reply. What is your thoughts on hi doses of Vitamin D? Like some expert claiming 10 or 20000 units a day. Appreciate your reply.

You probably need to take over 50,000 for it to actually matter, so I have no particular problem at all with 10k or 20k. If 4,000 is equivalent to to two hours in bright sun (which even depends on latitude, altitude, clouds or haze, clothing...) then imagine a fisherman on a boat for ten hours. Never going to get sick from his own VitD...

I've arthritic knees/Baker's Cyst hospital/doctor diagnosis and Ibuprofen etc. prescribed. Had one steroid knee injection (not pleasant) last September. This helped greatly for ... two weeks! Then walking more or less impossible. Saw Shapefixer video above and started 3 month diet test as above. Within 2 weeks years of stomach bloating (hospitalised with it once) had gone. Within a month or so had lost, mainly waistline, one stone. (14 pounds) Weight now stable at 10.5 stones (150 pounds approx) Now after 3 months, October 1st 2024 to January 1st 2025, Ibuprofen/Paracetamol use is now minimal. Leg/walking mobility is about 60% to 70% normal, with some aches and pains. Cycling more or less ok. (good knee exercise) Will keep on for another 3 months! Cheers Andrew, great video's! (I'm now 78 years old).
