Nice to see you producing videos again. Sully’s is fantastic. Hope to make another trip there this winter. Here’s a question: why do I seem to strike golf balls more poorly in a simulator than outdoors? Am I the only with that problem? One more question: at set up do you recommend keeping the lead elbow pointed at the hip or down the target line? I’ve seen both ways recommended by KZbin golf instructors (no surprise.) Based on my golf round yesterday down the line works better for me.

When you ring a bell you are pulling the rope down through the center of the chest! So the start of ringing the bell, works well if one stays on the right side until the arms come down a few inches while the chest is still turned, then momentum takes over and one moves to the left for balance! This gives most people time to get the hands and arms in time with the turn, since the arms have a much longer length to travel!! Timing is improved!

When a beginner like me searches for Golf videos, the recommendations I get talks about loft and stuffs in Irish or Scottish accents. Whereas it should have been this very video. Underrated content. I wish it goes into atleast a million views in like 3 years 👍

I have been tracking my shots for the last 10 years. I think people are confused by the word, consistently. I hit my driver longer than 3 wood, but the bad shots bring the average down. The 3 goes shorter, but is more accurate, and with fewer bad shots. Overall, that means it is consistently longer.

Im certain that with the right club design, we’d be able to hit further with one hand than two.

That’s not always the issue. I hit my woods farther because they have x flex shafts. My driver has a stiff shaft, so I can’t use it. My swing speed is always 120-125, so my problem is on the opposite end of the “average golfer’s” problem.

I've been doing nothing but this for the past couple of days, and I found I actually prefer not holding my trail arm with my lead hand. The trail elbow is figuring out on its own where it needs to go. Such a great drill either way.

Would you have a chart showing "angle of attack" of the wedge through driver? It would be nice to compare my numbers to the chart.

I got my dads clubs cut down and it’s much more beneficial becuse graghfite irons are way to light and tippy to where it won’t teach you to get stronger because the wait and wippy ness just makes ball striking less consistent and once you learn with Willy shafts you can’t change to like a stiff flex or a steel

Swing inside a barrel is very simple. It's just a classic golf swing where everything is moving on a transverse plane. The modern golf swing the upper body is transverse but the lower body is sagittal two completely different concepts.

I've been using my 3 wood off the tee for a couple of years now and it has helped my game because the ball is in the fairway and I'll get 240-250 off the tee. Driver would be less yardage and probably off to the right in the rough, or worse.

Percy Cooper spoke of swinging in a barrel. I now suggest that the so call barrel is the rolling rib cage of our bent chest. So let the good times roll. Let your arms and hands extend as you swing your club back and forth in a rolling barrel. Stay inside your golf posture and never chase after the ball. Your rolling barrel will turn your body approximately as well; as it creates the centrifugal force for your club head to smash directly through your ball. Bringing you up to your glorious finish. Don’t worry: Swing Happy😊Cheers

Thanks Mike. Question. I easily, on average, hit my 5 wood longer and certainly much straighter than my driver, but I read that it is sometimes advantageous to shorten the shaft on the driver temporarily, say for a year or so, to get that club to perform better. Any thoughts?
