Fantastic. Well done. There's a book of transcribed solos of a number of Chick tunes that was published years ago and this is one of the songs in it. 👍🏽

The first part of the baseline, on the left hand, from this instrumental song reminds me of Sergio Mendez popular hit song Maskinata, on the Brazil 66 album. Thank you! for sharing this wonderful! presentation, on the KZbin channel ❤ Johnny Montreal Canada 🇨🇦😃

Very useful lesson, as are all your videos. I especially liked the detailed way you explained how to play the sixteenth note triplet in the third measure. I'd appreciate if sometime in the future you could show how to play an eight note followed by two sixteenth notes, because I´m never sure how to play that rhythmic figure correctly.

Thank you so much Ollie. I'm getting really a lot out of this. Can you do a similar run-through of rhythm changes?

I think the backing rhythm track is from the Drum Genius app: Brazilian Bossa#2

That fright-bright white background is trying to kill any joy that I had left in my life when clicking this link. We're all in Dark Mode these daze, and bright white backgrounds are mood destabilizers! Maybe instead scroll some 1960s Upper West Side NYC black & white video scenes on your fright-bright wall, and for goodness sakes, maybe wear a hat like Monk did, and sweat a little, and get some more spunk in your bass stride; I do like the trills, very Thelonious-like, especially at the end. Do some more "in the style of" Monk, I believe that some of his best piano solos were songs by others, songs like "Satin Doll" and "Don't Blame Me" you need to create an entire Monk-Like Playlist! Maybe also do Erik Satie. Can you play Ravel in G? _Then I'll subscribe!_ 🎶 - j q t -
