I pay taxes as much as anyone. My salary gets me through the month and I can't have any savings. I live in a 1 room + 1 bathroom apartment that doesn't even have a kitchen. I studied for 3 years through the lockdowns to get a better paying job, but for every single job there are at least 300 applicants. Due to all the stress and economic problems, I recently had a hormonal imbalance and tried to find a doctor. After 14 months and 5 referrals I finally found a specialist. It turns out that my condition "isn't covered" by the government and I had to shell out $500 for every injection despite paying exorbitant taxes for the promise of "free" healthcare. I used to work in another country and used to drive a brand new Nissan Maxima. I thought that migrating to Canada would be mutually beneficial to both myself and the country. It turns out that Canada is a scam. I came here with almost $90,000 and now living paycheck to paycheck. Now I'm looking for every opportunity to escape but can't even afford moving away. Avoid coming here at all costs.

Your job and remuneration in China is fantastic - almost sounds like you’re working in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or some place thereabouts, but actually much better. Excellent choice - and great video. In-hand earnings for citizens, PRs or skilled expats viz. students, temporary workers and working holiday visa holders is lower in Canada compared to the US …the only attraction factor/appealing end-result for expats including potential PR applicants is the probability of a PR visa and the cost/effort needed to obtain PR. Unless there is potential for a PR visa, no international students will bother to enrol at Canadian universities. Simple! If you are a qualified high earning skilled expat in countries like Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, Canada and Switzerland then you end up getting depressed during 7 months of darkness, you pay a lot of taxes that support lazy Iranian, Syrian, Palestinian, Pakistani, Khalistanis, Lebanese, Somalian and Nigerian thugs, beggars, welfare cheats and terrorists. Law enforcement is useless, the legal system is toothless and the elected governments protect murderers. Italy, Greece, Spain and Australia are now becoming the same - the Australian Government just ordered 3000 refugee PR visas for Palestinians and intelligence agencies in Australia have increased the national terrorist threat from ‘possible’ to ‘probable’.

I absolutely agree with your views on the current situation in Canada. I'm thinking to fly back to India and was wondering if taking a PR card would make any difference in the quality of life. It'll get worse in the future if the Liberals win. Canada is truly beautiful and I wish it stays that way but not with uncivilized immigrants, scammers, refugees, drug addicts, racists. Canada deserves better people.

My wife and I escaped Canada to survive retirement. I paid taxes all my life, raised children worked hard every day in a non unionized job. We lost our home because of the interest rate hikes. Now I am 61, no job pension, no home. I was born in the wrong generation I guess.. there were no government jobs or union jobs available during the 90's when I entered the workforce, and the ones that were available were reserved for women mostly. This is Canada. A janitor working for the government will have a better life than an educated worker competing in the real world and paying back student dept. We are now living in Turkey and trying to survive until I reach 65, after that we will be getting by with 1500$ per month. Had we stayed in Canada, this wouldn't even cover the rent. We would be asking for money on the street and looking through garbage in the morning for bottles and plastic in the middle of January. Thank you Canada. It seems that there are way more important things than to take care of the citizens who contributed all their lives. No wonder that Trudeau setup the "Assistance to suicide" program. There will be an army of people like me with broken lives and no future lining up for self euthanasia.

Dont let the door hit you when you leave 😅. Dont blame people for what the stupid government does. Alot of Canadians work hard and like Canada 🇨🇦. Most people that complain were not even born in Canada. They expect too much for nothing while hard working 💪 Canadians work hard. I would never ever live in another country. I will say it again dont let the door hit you when you leave.😅

I believe the best countries to live in are those with a few key ingredients - relatively young growing population, well educated (low or free university education), government taxes the corporations properly and appropriately (meaning much more compared with Canada now) without giving them the reigns to run the country (and corrupt the politicians), government does not unload most of the tax burden on the average ordinary citizen, different political parties and large corporations work together for the average citizen (to maintain/enhance the society that allowed them to succeed), provide adequate support to their vulnerable and/or disadvantaged people (i.e., children, people 65+, disabled) - as all these ingredients create hope and positivity which are often fruitful economically, socially, and otherwise. Canada has lost this which was key to their previous success. It's up to the average Canadian to vote-in politicians with the same ideals and abilities to achieve these critical benchmarks. When it's been proven it costs more to house, feed, and nurture those in poverty for about $30K each (rather than the $50K annual price tag associated with the current method of allowing people to go homeless and use emergency services and police to intervene when in crisis), we would be saving money if there was a will to go in the better direction. If Canada can somehow "afford" to spend $350 billion on COVID-19 but Canadians do not have a desire to vote-in politicians who would fork-out $5-$10 billion to end homelessness and poverty in Canada, there is little hope/desire for things to improve for most Canadians.

Canadians were always highly taxed compared with Americans, but Canadians are now taxes like Scandinavians without the social services and securities. Salaries in Canada have been stagnated for decades and employee benefits are constantly eroded (i.e., pensions, etc.). Canada is run very divisively and is ineffective as a cohesive nation since provinces having too much power (and not enough national economic and social cohesion). University education is financially unattainable to many young Canadians now.

In Canada the government owns you and never lets you forget it. ever increasing Tax and Regulation, Media as a government entity lying everyday on every issue. Crime and disorder, lack of infrastructure, a facade of Democracy in a weak, unproductive economy, a parasitic country living on the back of the US. An entire nation run by Southern Ontario for their benefit, not the Nations.

I hd to leave Canada for personal reasons. It was the reset that i needed. Sadly people of my own country are not good role models (Indians , some are good but most are fucked). The thing is that immigration made that country very bad. You sould have little bit of immigration but not this much. Chinese people are cool as fuck though , very intelligent too. I could always just go to chinese people and make friends easily with them and before i knew it I had mostly Chinese friends , koreans too. It's sd that it didn't work out for me. Would love to move there and settle down permanently. Ni Hao folks and thank you Canadians .

Bingo! You got it. Multiculturalism is a bogus and destructive idea. It creates clusters of people with a cultural wall around them which is a divisive system. As long as the ethnic and cultural core of the country remains and small numbers of immigrants are assimilated, things can be maintained. However, when MASS immigration creates autonomous enclaves where no one is required to mix, things Balkanize and that is never good for the cohesiveness or strength of either a culture or nation. Until assimilation stops being a dirty word and becomes a priority policy, I don’t think the country can stop circling the drain. As a European stock Canadian who has lived in Asian countries for the past 35 years, it was essential that I learned the languages, and observed the cultural norms to get along. Foreigners are a small minority in Asia and have few political rights with which to practice identity politics. This is as it should be. Foreigners are respected for the most part, but they are not allowed exceptional status and exemptions from the laws which a certain religious group always demands and receives when they move to the west. The sooner the flawed concept of multiculturalism, and MASS immigration ends, the better off western societies will be.
