My advice Don't have children without realizing that you will spend a minimum of $250k per kid for a minimum of 18 years. In fact, dont get married, either unless God has called you to be married. I live with three women. (Wife and two daughters) Spending money is in a woman's DNA.

I think it definitely depends, my wife and I set a monthly household spending budget and then she just buys whatever she wants within that budget. It’s been great. Kids do definitely cost a lot though and I think more conversations need to happen before any couple decides to have one. But man, I can imagine what it must be like to have three women in the home sometimes 😂

CAD, actually but I plan to save more in USD as well - almost all my savings goes towards investments. Only my emergency fund is in RMB.
