Unfortunately that won't work either. Someone did some testing and it seems it's a chunk picker bug. None of the tiles at that pond are actually "shore" tiles, so melee doesn't work on them there without a halberd. I may try the mithril scimmy to double check, but no other methods worked in testing.

Seems a lot of people did that back in the day haha. I'm honestly not sure where I did my cooking when I was younger. I don't remember using a fireplace though. Maybe just fires on the ground xD

I'll be addressing it in the next video, but basically guards don't spawn in my chunks and therefore don't count as a chunk task. The chunk picker website has it that way and that's how basically all OneChunks do it. The guards wander into my chunk, but that doesn't make them a task. I may still do the 40 thieving grind, but it's a maybe depending on how long the WC grind takes me xD

As for the logs, I did not realize that at the time since I have never used the feature in OSRS, but I'll definitely be using lines of fire to get to 60. I was mostly just remarking about how nice it is to have an afk option now. I'm glad my comments let me know before I did the 60fm grind haha

The short answer is the default option on the Chunk Picker is to use the "gadget" spells for chunk tasks. So tellagrab, high alc, etc. Otherwise any chunk with a few runes types becomes a 99 grind. I didn't change that default setting and I'm ok with it. I'd be in Varrock forever if I had to get like 96 magic since I can barely afford to buy stuff as it is. I do believe most chunkers use that setting. Makes magic grinds feel like real skilling tasks instead of just an imminent 99 for nothing. As for why it didn't make me get 55 for high alc, I'm not sure. I assume that the default Chunk Picker settings have a setting in there somewhere to not count nature rune drops if they are really rare or something. Although I do believe the only ones I can get right now are from the maze randoms, which wouldn't count anyways.

Ahh ok so combat spells are not included got it. Saw the rune shop and not having fire blast as a task made me think. Dont think you have nats otherwise 79 for entangle would probably be there

Exactly! As soon as I get natures as a possibility, that magic task is going to bump up a lot. At least I have a store for it though.

Rolled new chunk today! xD. Archeus central piece. Biggest grind for me! 75 fletching, 75 wc and 1-67 magic...

I like it. RSC was a whole different ball game. Simpler days.

Not quite true unfortunately. :( Herblore is locked behind Druidic Ritual, but Runecrafting is not completely locked behind Rune Mysteries. Until I complete Rune Mysteries, I can't use lamps or books on RC, but I CAN still train it if I have a method to do so. I'm still a little bit away from having to worry about it I think, but it's very possible in the near future. 😭

Very, very good points! The RS3 version is probably the most reliable for sure. Although something else to think about is the fact that Jagex doesn't really add in extra stools or legs every year as far as I'm aware. So does that mean she isn't aging anymore and has been the same age in RS3 since it came out? Maybe I'm reading into it too much lol

Really appreciate the feedback and idea! Skillcapes are a rough thing to plan for imo. If I got the firemaking cape as a task, I see no reason why I shouldn't just grind it out. But if it was runecrafting with the air altar, then yeah it's just not a realistic thing to do. However, runecrafting to 99 with GotR is again another story. I'm going to address my plans for those kind of tasks in the next video, but I'm still deciding what exactly I want to do. At the end of the day, if it takes me 3 months to do a grind and get a video out, that's no good for anyone, but backing down from a big task is also kind of lame considering there are others out there who would do it.

Thanks! Nope! The guards at the farm don't actually spawn in the chunk and my Varrock chunk has no guards that wander in or spawn there, so it's not a task. I'm sure I'll get that task soon though.

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying! It's not a task because the guards don't actually spawn in my chunk. They wander in sometimes, but they aren't actually in the farm chunk. And as far as the Varrock chunk goes, they are quite a ways out of the chunk. I'm sure this task will show up soon enough though!

I honestly wouldn't mind getting some thieving levels and cash, but with the massive woodcutting grind I'm doing, I don't have time for side quests. Might put it up to a poll for viewers to decide if I should just do the 40 thieving grind anyways if I roll another chunk without them in it.
