He mate, thanks for properly showing how to fit the bag and what features it has! The only thing I would like to add that at the end of the video you show how to open the bag. But it looks like you didn't roll the top 2/3 times before securing it with the buckles. That will give the bag the 100% waterproof. Greetings from the Netherlands

does it restrict arm movement like other motorcycle gear ? i'm looking at this for electric unicycle riding, so i'd prefer to have freedom in arm movement, and probably the motorcycle when/if i get my license.

It's a lot less restrictive than a leather jacket, the material has got some stretch so I think it would be a good compromise.

I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded , that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.
@sneakypurpleninja
@sneakypurpleninja 2 ай бұрын
I reading your comment I checked my jacket and I don't have that problem, maybe because I don't use the thumb loops and I don't use the same gloves (I alternate through Dianese, Knox and Alpinestars) Either way it's not good customer support. It does alter my perspective of the company.

Absolutely crazy the ZH2 doesnt come with a steering damper. I didnt know that was a thing anymore since every fast machine, be it the zx6r or zx10r, has one. With the gearing + the Zh2 engine the front must be constantly in air or at least very light. How did they not feel the need to put a steering damper into something like that.

Hell, I had a Honda 250cc bike years ago and put a steering head damper on it to reduce the incessant 'wiggling' that smaller bikes tend to do noticeably--and pretty much continuously regardless of tires, road condition etc. No idea why ANY road motorcycle wouldn't have a steering damper.
