Hitting a twitch on the Kawasaki ZH2 at 158mph

Just highlights from a Sunday run, coming back from brunch, hit a twitch at the end.

i call this bike without a damper "the widowmaker" cause a 200mph naked bike without a damper is so sketchy i dunno why kawasaki thought that was ok

Definitely a bad decision (cost cutting) on Kawasaki's part. Glad I fitted one myself

@sneakypurpleninja ive been thinking about buying one for like a year now its just i kinda hate that id have to mount a damper myself i dont see why that wouldnt be included

You don't really have to drive 200mph on a naked bike.

I got a 2021 zh2 se amd when going for high speeds i have learned you must lean forward on the bike, so weights over the handlebars. I have a small windscreen on mine that I took all the way down behind whenever doing a pull. This takes away all headshake for me even up to top speed. Personally I don't feel the need for a steering dampener but as other suggested that can also be a solution if changing the seating position doesn't work.

I have tried leaning more forward and getting closer to the tank and it does help a bit, I still think I will go for the steering damper as a more permanent solution, but appreciate your input Thanks

Do yourself a huge favor and install a Brocks damper ASAP!! Super happy with mine!!

Just got a new zh2 se, Brocks must be out of them. Any suggestions on an alternative? Wheel float head shake is getting kinda sketchy/scary.

@@steve166h The damper kit from Brocks uses their own bracket, I don't know of anyone else doing a specific fit for the ZH2, I would contact Brocks directly and ask if they are getting them back in, their customer service is pretty good

where did you put the microphone at? on top of the exhaust outlet? gotta fix the microphone asap

Microphone lives under the rear seat, stops it picking up wind noise, but it does pick up the exhaust!

that wasn’t a wobble but I would suggest you go buy a steering damper for the bike, Brock makes one and btw what kind of exhaust do you have on this thing?
