I didn't expect the tears that this brought. Geoff, so humble, so sincere, such an awesome dude. I'll forever miss the days of the Drunk Tank(before it became the RT Podcast) of Geoff and Jack Achievement Hunter. My heart is too heavy to even write some long, drawn out thing. Just know that I loved Rooster Teeth as it was, not as it became. And they were a big part of my growing up.

If I remember correctly, I believe it was the first or second episode of Halo horse being the first video that I ever watched. I pretty much stopped watching altogether in 2016. I’m pretty sure we can all say we saw the shutdown coming for a long while now but in kinda needed to happen a couple years ago IMO still sucks to see it happen I wish Geoff, Gus, and Michael specifically the best of luck on the road ahead RIP RT YOU WILL BE MISSED.

I loved RT from day one. I had to step away around late 2021 or early 2022. She was part of the reason why I stopped. I loved her years ago and then around Covid she and others started getting bad. Shoving the “wear your fucking masks” stuff for no reason in every RT podcast. I’m not anti masker but her and others would randomly insert that and some anti trump shit multiple times per podcast. I’m not a trump guy either I just find it annoying. I would turn to RT to escape the politics and Covid world we were in and they had to use this platform to bitch about it all the time. They can be talking about halo and then she would randomly cry about masks for 3 minutes for no reason. They caused their own downfall They would contradict themselves every week depending on what the world told them was trendy. Look at how they treated Micah and kdin then suddenly a year later they were calling gay and black people brave. Where was that prior ? Watching old videos they have flipped so hard. Then they say people don’t change yet say they were capable of change wtf

It’s amazing that people are saying why they left and stopped watching rooster teeth and to everyone of those comments the cult of poster teeth is still showing up telling them their wrong and they somehow know better why rooster teeth failed. Guys you stayed on and kept watching RT and were the ones surprised by its shutdown maybe listen to the people who left talking about why they left.

It is okay to grieve for the overwhelming loss, but when you are ready pick yourself up and put that same energy into your new vision. I feel no sympathy for him. Ages ago, when he spoke to us directly last time, he had the choice to see the writing on the wall and call things out for what they actually were. But he chose not to, and now he's tied to the sinking ship he thought it would be a good idea to defend. They should have never moved out of 636. What I DO feel sympathy for is what he went through with his wife and daughter. That shit was fucked.

Rooster teeth was the best when it was just frat boy nerds in college. It got to big attracted to many new school internet softies and changed for the worse stupid needles scandals all because they sold out to a company and hired the wrong people. Rooster teeth will always be old school achievement hunter:RvB the original podcast. The original 5 did something amazing

I was introduced to achievement hunter of rooster teeth when I was in the worst part of my life. While I was contemplating if I wanted to continue living, watching gave me joy and laughter when I needed it and still need it. Thank you rooster teeth for getting me through dark times, I will continue watching old achievement hunter and let’s play content to remind me of the good times you gave me when I was at my lowest. it's so sad indeed, but all their sadness is NOTHING compared to the depression this series gave me after the finale of volume 8. I took it so personal. I was crying for weeks! and it made cursed the Rooster teeth hoping they'll also feel the same depression I felt. I guess THIS IS IT! It's payback time.

Geoff has such a big heart. It has always shown. People say RT ended because there wasn't a demand for the content anymore but I strongly disagree. If the original AH guys would get together and dick around while playing games, it will be as popular as it was...

Its honestly been such a journey i cant even remember exactly where it all began for me, halo fails of the week, things to do, red vs blue, rwby, lets plays, office shenanigans, between the games. Started watching when i was in my first year of high school and growing up it was like being a part of a second, chaotic, geeky and loveable family. I got busy with life as you do, but found my way back to bingeing rvb and fails of the week in my downtime and even at work, just made me realise how much weve all grown. As much as it sucks balls, thats life, flying high in april and shot down in may 🥲🥲🥲

Eeeeeeeeh, you can delete Lindsay, Trevor, and Fiona from that list. Lindsay was meh in the early days when she appeared in videos, No idea how she was as an office manager but I can't imagine scatterbrained mouthbreathing was helpful, then she got fat and it made her brain swell into her skull and it just got worse from there. Trevor was always "wAcKY gOoFY dUdE" and it was never my cup of tea, then they gave him WAY too much creative control and quality started to slip. Fiona was straight dogshit start to finish. It went from where did they find this creature to oh and she's not funny, and she's only concerned with doing her own thing, and now the company is dead. Before Geoff started trying to please everyone and offend no one he was awesome, then he turned into a kicked puppy and was just depressing. Jack was always the rock, but then he started leaning into his brain dead politics. Gavin was the young kid who was super focused on his thing, but also just funny and British. Michael, Ray, and Jeremy I think were my absolute favorites, definitely lads through and through. Alfredo was okay but always felt like he thought he was superior and would have been a "world class video gamer" if not for his crippling carpel tunnel, but he wasn't unbearable about it. Matt was the group punching bag so I always felt sorry for him, but kinda like he either earned it or needed to stand up for himself. Burnie and Joel were mostly on the other side of the house but they were smart and interesting. Gus was also more on the Burnie and Joel side of things but he was hilarious. Barbara was always window dressing, but if you could keep her away from braindead takes she was at least inoffensive window dressing. Miles was the Trevor of the other side of the house, but it actually kinda fit there and he wasn't made sole decision maker for new projects. I still maintain that Ryan did nothing wrong. He banged a few fans. If any of them had actually been underage he would be in prison. How it affects his marriage and family isn't our concern as fans of his content. And the man knew how to make good content.

What sucks the most is that while f**facke and face jam will go on, giving me a weekly dose of gavin, michael, geoff, andrew, jordan, etc. I have no idea where to go to see gus, barb, jack, chris, miles, blaine, and everyone else </3. Genuinely hope I can catch them again somewhere in the future :((((

We'd been calling this for years and everyone jsut kept saying we were trolling and hating. Turns out when you stuff politics down everyone's throat, hire a bunch of diversity hires that aren't qualified for the job, and also overwork your employees, you don't end up producing much that's worth anything. RT only lasted as long as it did because it had deep pockets to draw from. Without that, the company would have died in 2020.

Sadly it lasted far longer then I expected honestly I would be happy seeing Geoff starting a simple KZbin channel where all it is, has him playing the Peggle game series, some fallout shelter, and just other simple games, with it only having like a max of twenty followers and just being supportive or talking about random games, just enjoying simple things.😊
