I think a much better metric would be Price/Gross Profit, this'll capture the revenue as well as the core business efficiency.
@MinsooKim-s1mКүн бұрын
@asymmetricinvesting I agree with this comment. Huge believer & stock owner myself, valuing this company based on PS ratio somewhat misguide the company's potential. The company's enjoying 80% GP margin, and therefore, if we assume the SG&A to be fixed cost, the levered effect as the revenue grows will be tremendous For FY24, guided revenue is roughly $1.5bn, so the gross profit will be 1.2bn, and since adjusted ebitda guidance is 200mn, we can say that the company is spending 1bn SG&A this year. If the company double it's revenue, gross profit will increase to 2.4bn, and if the company manages to limit its sg&a cost growth to 50%, the company will spend 1.5bn as sg&a, resulting in 0.9bn Ebitda. Sale grew 2x, but ebitda grew 4.5x. This is all just my assumption, but I think this high growth rate+ high margin combination is the key factor when it comes to Hims. Using the P/S metric only focuses on the former
