How about showing us how to measure the ropes? Like, for example, cut them in front of us, place them on the dowel, etc. That would be nice.

How do I figure out measurements regarding the basket size / how far apart the knots should be, if I was making a plant hanger that is only about 8-9" long, for a 2" terra cotta pot??

Hi! Great question. If I were making a tiny plant hanger I would just use trial and error! I don't have a specific formula for plant hanger baskets. What I usually do is make the basket and put the pot in. If there is anything awkward about the way the pots sits in it, I undo some of the knots and try again. It doesn't usually take much fussing to get it just right. I hope that helps!
