Macramé 101: Alternating Square Knots

Emily Katz of Modern Macramé teaches a lesson on Alternating Square Knots.
Here, we demonstrate a basic pattern of left sided square knots.
You want to make sure that the filler cords in the center stay straight and steady while you work.
First, make a horizontal row of Square Knots.
For Row 2, leave out the left most two cords, and select two cords from the below the left square knot and two cords from the right square knot and with those four cords, create a new square knot.
