Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin was in the crowd. Led Zeppelin appreared in 1970. So did Black Sabbath. The early 70s was an amazing time. Disco still hadn't taken over, just pure rock n roll, and with Black Sabbath, metal.

This tune and It's For You are two great songs, when they came out they stuck out from the rest.

Mick Taylor was the dogs bollocks! What a great player! Not taking anything away from Ronnie but he wasn't with The Stones in the late '60's and '70's when they played their best. God bless Charley

Holy shit! That was 24 years ago. I'd been mostly ignorant of Bowie's talent up until the point where he took the stage and I proceeded to be completely blown away by his set. His set was a suitably majestic climax to one of the best experiences of my life that was Glastonbury 2000. Someone at work recently asked me who recorded, "All the Young Dudes" and I replied with, "Bowie" because this was so ingrained to my memory that I had automatically dismissed Mott the Hoople version. Bowie headlining Glastonbury 2000 was absolutely fucking amazing!
