Just got my ultra 2 jazz bass but that soon I plugged I noticed I have to increase the volume on my amp till 50 % just to play at my living room, normally I have 10-15 % on all my basses (Aguilar AG700 head with Aguilar db112 cab) is that normal for this new fenders?

@fatherno5721 An older FENDER Rumble 200 watt amp. I've had it some years. Self contained. No head or anything. Glad you liked the Jackenbacker!

I played one yesterday at GC, yes it’s over 2K but why spend thousands more on other brands of Jazz bass clones when you can buy the real deal by Fender who invented it, I bought one same color, but will change pick guard and pickups to customize

Point taken. But I do feel FENDER could compromise a bit more. A solid , clean. and good sounding bass. A bit lower in price.😉

@@maxproud update, I wound up ordering the ultra burst 5, factory set up was perfect, im not changing the pickups , the noisless 2 sound wonderful, over all the bass feels custom, i will only change the jack plate to gold to match the pickgaurd.

I kind of agree. The GIBSON basses have always been a bit bulky and thick to me. This bass does have a lot of body.😮
