"If u are comfortable they're comfortable" Not really, I feel comfortable in lower temperature where they definetely would not be happy. About 18-19°C (dunno F)

I'm still relatively new to the hobby and I enjoy going to the expos. I went to a reptile expo several weeks ago (I won't name the expo) and there was a vendor there, I've seen this man at several other expos, and I asked if the particular tarantulas were wild caught or captive bred. He never for sure gave me an answer except to tell me it really didn't matter either way. He seemed almost offended that I asked. He was talking to me, I assume, like he thought I knew nothing, like I had not done any research. Thanks to you, and several others, I will always do my own research, never impulse buy, and try to buy captive bred animals.

I got mine for free from a breeder after a big order of scorpions, was the second t I’ve ever owned. Very flighty but has never thrown a threat posture, I’ve noticed a fairly quick growth rate every time I see her she seems to be a bit bigger but very rarely do I see her out of her burrow.

Black Windows are so beautiful! They're not actually agressive at all, they'll pretty much only bite if they get squashed.

So far all my Girls will molt in their burrows. But they are tidy lil' ladies and they bring the molt out in the open when they're good, dry and hardened put. It's hilarious to see them walk around with their old coat and chuck it in a corner. I swear my Grammostola Pulchra Legsi was rubbing her padipalps like she was rubbing her hands: "a job well done". They're so cute. My Legsi is also an avid decorator. She'll piddle-paddle around with clumps of substrate, padding it into place when she lays it down. I can watch her for hours. It's adorable.

I bought mine at a reptile fair in the Netherlands. I got my 2 year old Tliltocatl Albopilosus girl Fluffy for €20,- My 2,5 year old girl Neoholothele Incei Tiggy was €15,- My 2 year old Grammostola Pulchra girl was €100,- They're all doing great and these videos and those of Tarantula Kat, Clint's Reptiles and others are a great help!! I really want one of each species but I made a deal with myself: I can have nine Tarantulas in my house maximum. I won't buy any new T's when I turn 65. That way I'll be sure to always take good care of my cute lil' horror-hamsters. They are living animals as you say, and I don't want to treat them as a collection. I also don't have the time or room for that anyway!

Hello I have a question about the best enclosure for a Chilean rose hair tarantula, I’ve had her since 2012 and she was an adult when I got her, Ive been keeping her in a 10 gallon tank her whole life and want to get her a different enclosure that suits her best as recently she got stuck on the top mesh, I made sure she was okay and she’s doing well but I don’t wanna chance that happening again, do you have any suggestions for what enclosure would be best? Love all your videos they’ve been very helpful 🙂

I collect based off the temperature of my reptile room, and the research I do, I NEVER Handle them (except my Mexican red rump, and my curly hair that I’ve had for 8 years!) I learned I have 2 on this list😂 I am ALWAYS respectful and cautious of them😂 I give them large habitats to do their thing❤I JUST got to the red rump part 🥺🥺 she/he has been the ONLYYYY one who’s ALWAYS so calm and not threatened when I handle them 🥺
