Hey! Great video. The best I've seen because your floor is 1 piece! I just ordered my Excursion 5 and want to build this exact floor. Will you please tell me the size of your floor? Don't worry about the rounded corners. What size length and width did you cut the wood to? Very clean look!

There's an online floor spec that works. It's 38"x8ft.. at 12" from the bow, it needs to be tapered to 35", going back 24" from the bow to get that taper. Worked great for me.

Personally I would have just kept the seats in because if you're just going to fit maybe four people yeah that would be a different story if you're feeding four or five people then you probably would need the seats out however if you're going to be fitting only but maybe two or three people then you just keep the seats in 🤨

Great video! I bought a 2023 model from Planet BMX for $299. I read so many bad reviews about the bars, grips, seat and post. I threw the bars and grips in the garbage and got 8" TNT Retro Race Bars and SE Grips. Since I don't like front load stems I added an SE Narler Stem. I replaced the pivotal seat and post with an SE Flyer Seat and Micro Adjust Seat Post and then added SE chain tensioners. With all the extras it came to $490 including free shipping and I am very happy with the bike.

I’m a big fan of kahr. They are made to carry it actually only likes hot ammo that’s why everything is so stiff and tight. The all metal kahrs are naturally +p rated because it’s cnc machined stainless steel. Even this gun is 418 stainless steel

Great knife, but the sheath is the worse. I wanted to covert to horizontal position. 1. There are no instructional videos for this sheath; I visited buckknives/about-knives/product-instructions/ as per card supplied, only to find no such address exists. 2. I visited this youtube channel as per card supplied, no such instructions here either. 3. So I browsed youtube, still nothing. 4. I figured it out myself, only to find that the 'nuts' used at the top are too long and every configuration I tried either needs more screws than what is supplied or leaves it lose... and way to fiddly to do. The belt spacer has a slot at the top, how on earth can it be pushed in without splitting the 'loop'? This could be placed at the square end(bottom), there is room for it! Surly Buck can come up with a much simpler method for this sheath.
@tororb9142
@tororb9142 9 ай бұрын
Update; I purchased an assortment of 3/16 nuts and bolts, with mushroom head, for the 1" length I made sure to get extra nuts to act as spacers. Painted them all black. Now I have a VASTLY improved secure connection, that is far less fiddly. I've also dremmeled out a new spacer gap! Of course all of this could have been avoided with a well thoughtout sheath, which I pondered while on my way home from the hardware store; A single bolt in the center with a connected belt loop moulded with slots in one and groves in the other positioned at various angles. I wonder if anyone at Buck has actually tried using this sheath?

Nice video! I bought this same bike much like you, I thought it would be bigger! I have a PL26 and I purchased this because I wanted something to ride sometimes that's a little more nimble, but it is smaller than I expected. Redline says up to 6'3" can ride this, but I'm 6'1" and find myself trying to get some height out of it. The seat is the easy part, but the handlebars are so low. I was hoping I could raise the stem, but it doesn't seem like it's adjustable? Anyway, great video. Plus, now the price is $299! Crazy deal!

Two years later this motor is going strong kzbin.infoUgkxBZWgzfpS2Jj7JqIHyaSZjyVHNUgCKCBf Just uploaded a video of it after 2 years. We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite

2yrs ago On my way to princess auto (Canadian here), my daughter turned to me and said “Dad, can we built a go kart.” [me with no welder, and no clue how to build one] replies “uhhhhh, I’m not sure how to build one.” We got to princess auto 5mins later and 212cc engines are on sale for $130bucks … I looked at my daughter and said “build a Go Kart? Sure! Why not?” I copied your design and we built it together and we have a blast riding it. We destroyed the front end steering 2by’s twice (wood split in half) and upgraded it to 2x1” tubular steel. Had to rebuild the steering wheel and the plywood came unglued in the weather (sits outside, no garage). This year we’ve gone for a few night rips (suburbs with lots of bays and curvy roads, low traffic too), I followed in car to pace how fast it goes ~45-50km/hr with no engine mods. It has a dark silhouette for night riding, so this year I added reflective tape to the front, rear, and sides. And I bought a LED 700 lumen battery operated work light and mounted it to the front. I feel better that its more visible to cars now. But I have to get the chain tensioner thingy. We’ve thrown the chain a few times now. We’re able to get it back on like you would a bike, but if we can prevent it, that’d be better. (Side note - I had some white lithium grease so I sprayed that on the steering component in between where it rubs on the chassis, and that helps a bit with the ease of steering.) Thanks for posting this video!
