I was abused my multiple people over the course of my life. My dad abused me till he abandoned me for my grandparents to raise me. Later in my life he came and took me away from them. He abused me and allowed others to abuse me. I tried to kill myself as a way out but was stopped by a phone call that changed my life forever. I took the abuse so my little brother and sister didn’t have to. I found a way out and so did my brother. My sister was/is treated like the golden child so she was safe. That’s just a fraction of what I went through. The Menendez brothers were adults and they had money. They could have gotten out. Instead they made the decision to kill their parents. They should be in prison for the rest of their lives. They killed their dad then tried to kill their mom. They stepped out to reload came back and shot their mom 2 more times. After they killed them they went on a shopping spree. Once the law caught up to them a book came out saying that their story of abuse was fabricated. That’s why in the second trial they couldn’t use that as motive. If they did put Lyle on the stand the prosecution would have cross examined him about the book. There’s no actual evidence of them being abused. Even if there was they still killed 2 people. They still should be in prison. They should have found a different way out.
